Deceiver came out when I was in Tokyo. I listened to it non-stop there, now every time I hear these songs it takes me right back to wandering around Shibuya and riding the Yamanote line.
Hope people perceive how this record its a complete different approach of shoegaze and alternative rock. And how fucking genial it is, love u guys, this disco rocks

Ngl Deciever is really nice album. Not for everyone. Played for some buds and they described it as too “doomy” but i think it’s so chill and Laid back. So easy to listen to while you’re sitting back on your couch doing nothing

I never noticed until I saw them live last weekend that Blankenship sometimes sounds SO RADIOHEAD from the OK Computer era, especially the guitar riff solo and the drum roll that preceeds. Even the way it ends it's so Radiohead as well lol. Not that there's anything wrong with that! Anyway love DIIV even more after the concert, they gave a fantastic show in Berlin. Hope they come back soon
