It dragged a bit near the beginning and then, as if they had heard from the great Russian maestro himself, they got into the right gear and did a great job. IMO, the cellist has good bow control, (apart from that unwanted jerk at the hilt that is so common these days - the cello teachers need to go back and learn from the French school (Fournier, Tortelier, and Capucon today is pretty good too) which gave a nice singing tone without the excessive ‘Rosty’ style of scratching!
Why do pianists have to destroy the beautiful Andante melody by putting too much of their amateur tremulando and rubato into it. Just play it properly without your own hedonistic immodesty and let Rach do the talking. I yearn for a return of the days of Fournier and Tortelier….. wow, she heard me: the Allegro mosso was much better: just some jerky stuff at the hilt to get rid of and she’s up there. As for the pianist: uneven melodic line and too much bashing, but it’s a bit unfair when you have to go up against Yuja and Richter, who in a different class!

伴奏的钢琴音量太大了，已经完全盖过了大提琴的音量，整体演奏显得非常凌乱，大提琴的音乐表现差很多。
