BIJU babu was a key person in establishment of UNESCO award known as Kalinga prize. This itself a very prideful thing. Air India airlines was formed by merger of Kalinga airlines and seven other airlines such as Deccan airlines , Himalayan airlines etc. BIJU babu had established the Kalinga airlines. Coming to Indonesia; ancient Kalinga was having a very good and close cultural impact on south east asia including Indonesia, so that's why the sufferings of Indonesia made him to help Indonesian leadership to liberate from slavery of Dutch. He was really a great son of soil. 🙏. Request to kindly make educational videos on empires of Kalinga such as Cheddi empire, Somvamsi empire, Imperial Ganga empire, Gajapati empires etc.
Sir, Mr Biju Pattanaik didn't form the political party BJD. But after his death, his partymen from Janata Dal formed the BJD and made his son Mr Nabin Pattanaik it's chief, in true Indian style of dynastic politics ! Mr Nabin Pattanaik had absolutely no political experience prior to this. Those who had thought that by making Nabin , the chief of the party, they would garner the votes and enjoy real power whereas Main would be a puppet in their hands, got a rude shock when they were sidelined by the man they had brought in.

Late Shri Biju Patnaik died in 1997, Biju Janata Dal was formed in 1999-2000 by his son Naveen Patnaik. Get the fact right.
