@@jasbabystuff8708 Hey! Do you have the link for the banister kit sold separately? I cant find the one you used and would love to follow along with your video for when we do this!
@@laurenkaplan9797 Hi, I tried to search for the exact banister kit, which I purchased from Amazon, but it seems to be sold out/discontinued there but its called (KidCo Gate Installation Kit) you can try to get this from a different store by searching this name in Google and it was $15 so don't pay more than that. Hope this helps, Thanks for watching.
Great video, Amazon users say the gate easily lifts off the hinges if need be, but I cannot find how to do that in the manual. Mine will not budge when I try to remove it. Do you know how to take it off the hinges by chance?
Thanks man . I bought mine second hand, so having this video is really helpful. If I’m not wrong, you use drywall anchors, because as most of the time we have no studs available In the right place, so my question is how the anchors hold up after time? I use anchors to hang my curtain but after some time the drywall anchos are very loose. Anyway thanks again for the video. 🙏🏻
The studs are definitely better than the anchors, its more secure. My anchors also came loose as well, try to get longer anchors that helped me instead of the ones that came with the kit. Hope that helps, thanks.
If you have to use anchors I would of installed the gate the opposite way from this video. This video the yhas the gate swinging open from the banister which over time the swinger pressure travelling across weakens the drywall anchors. If they installed the gate where it opened from the wall all your swinging tension from the gate opening is on the banister kit stud and the only pressure the drywall anchors get are when the gate closes. Just my opinion
@@Askeezy902 thats what I realized after and its a great idea to do it the other way so far its ok if it comes out then i will have to flip the gate like you said, thanks.
Thank you for this video!! It was so helpful. Would you know where I can get a copy of the template? I lost mine and now that I need to reinstall the gate in a different place I can’t find it. Ideas?
It’s so easy to fully come off. When baby goes down we always just take the whole gate off! It was a selling feature for us
How do you determine the top and bottom bracket distance I could have skip the music part may be a little bit of explanation
Better than description in menu. The video ink is no longer available. Your video on youtube saved me on installation!
Thanks
Thanks 🙏
excellent buy I recommend it
Very helpful ❤
Very helpful I like it 👌👍🏻
Thanks for sharing information
Thanks for sharing, it helps a lot !
I have lost the paper template to mark on the wall for drilling holes. Can I install the gate without the template?
Very helpful thax
Where do I buy an additional extension latch part? Would Home Depot sell them?
I got it from amazon, there are many choices amzn.to/3aSk57y
What is the distance between the floor and the bottom of the gate?
Hi
You can adjust as high or low as you want. My husband just put it above the molding (maybe 4 inches)Thanks
We put it high enough for our cats to slip under!
Hi! What did you install on the banister part please?
I used a wood piece with long/big zip ties from amazon so it doesn't damage the banister when I remove the gate as the kids get older.

For the banister side, the screw wasn't too long? I have the impression that if I use that screw I will pass trough the banister ...
Does the gate open both ways..?.? Or just one way.?.? 🤔
Hi
Only one way. 🙏

Very helpful thank you❤🙏
Any reason why my clamps wont go on correctly?
could be the alignment not to sure what else could be wrong.
Nice video! Can you open this gate easily with one hand?
Once you get used to it, it becomes easier to open with one hand. Thanks for watching.
sorry, but where the fing hell does it tell you to lift up the gate on the instructions. 🤨. Had to come here to understand it
Thanks man .

You can find it online, on Google.
Also did you only use the hardware provided? Do you like the baby gate? Thanks! 😊
No, I ordered the banister piece from amazon, everything else was from the kit and yes I do like the gate.
M’a fnb 😅
