I don't really think Giannelli can be a great setter for Ishikawa. Ishikawa is an incredible player, but he also relies on the setter. In Japan, he can shine, and in his previous club he was a monster as well, but Giannelli sets differently with a high ball and that doesn't help Ishikawa at all to be honest. This is also why he said this was not a good game for him, even though they won it. I feel that his full potential is not taken advantage of properly.
You all think negatively! Ishikawa shines with Gianelli! He can't be MVP if Gianelli is not good for him. No matter how good Ishikawa is, he can't be MVP with the Japan team because the setter you're praising in Japan is not as competent as Gianelli!
