Why is a police officer doing their job "dramatic"? Being a jerk will get you thrown out of most meetings.
Gold mine = well paying job, puts food on the table, adds to a childs uni/college fund, brings in tax dollars frol the mine, from the sale of the gold and income tax from the paid worker.
I dont see any problems here, protester seems to have to much time on his hand, maybe he should drop an application for a job.
good thing the cbc really show cased the concerns of the community. real balanced reporting /s
He is happy with living on welfare and wants others to do the same.
If they are already unhappy with this type of mine, will rare earth mining be even less popular.
Huh?? So.. what’s the other side of the story?
hey forget to even mention what the door hugger's issue was with the mine....
So, in other words, there's no story here.
That tells you right there who the RCMP really work for and spolier alert it's not the people.... Completely void of honour and duty

@Ian G it was a public town hall type meeting though. Asking questions while talking isn't bad or being unruly. That's how most meetings go even in the corporate world of board rooms. Also they dont always go in favour of the Landlord. The police did nothing when I asked them to come get the drug addict that was the bf of the woman renting my basement suite. He was wrecking my house and being abusive to her . He also wasn't on any rental agreement and the police did nothing even though I had my young daughters with me as well. If I was rich or business man they would have come running
Nonsense. John Perkins figured he had the right to tell the meeting’s facilitators & the other attendees, how things were going to go, as though by virtue of his magnificent presence, he was automatically in charge. He turned what should have been an informative presentation followed by a question & answer period, into his personal sh!tshow, demanding that everyone pay attention to him and prioritize his interests. He deserved to be dragged out, and good riddance.
Yes
Im working on river gold recovery
Canada has resources. As soon as you start to utilise them for jobs and other things that can improve the economy and people's lives, you get people not happy. Canada is a very backward country and will continue to be one.
@CLP Yes, that is true. I worked at INCO and I know what it can be like. I still feel that we have to look after the Canadian economy.
@CLP Yes companies should be regulated and have to follow certain regulations. It is up to the Provincial and Federal governments to assure that. Not all companies declare bankruptcy either. Either way due to the so call people that will oppose this expansion I do not see it going ahead. I could say more but I will leave it as I do not live in Canada anymore. Believe me, I am not sorry I left and no I do not live in the USA.
Someone tell me what the big dump trucks pay please? Hr/yr. Is this all year work?
Canada should leverage its resource sector in the best way that raises money for the government. Whether it be with higher taxes, royalties, partial government ownership of the operation, or something else. Norway did this with its oil and gas sector. The Nova Scotia NDP should really think hard about how it can use this to its advantage.
We need to keep our gold fiat currencies are not with us much longer!
The government should get out of the way. They can't organize a hand job in a whorehouse.
If any one have river gold sand i can recover on commision base
I need help please help me I'm in danger please help me
Corporations get their way and holding the meeting is their way of getting public approval. But if you don't agree they throw you out as they only want their opinion to rule.
