Sad Britian doesn't recognise the sacrifice of their colonies. The whole UK should pause for Anzac Day....The Australian defence forces members all swear an oath to serve her majesty faithfully and to resist her majesty enemies wherever and whenever. They are the queen's men and women ...they should get some recognition. I know there is an Anzac Day ceremony in UK but it is not attended in mass like their own armed forces day
the colonies where just gun fodder
I think you underestimate the feeling we have towards you lot.. and the Canadians kiwis.. even the Indians . If you where to ask anyone with half a brain that wants to learn about the sacrifice of ALL those people. I and my entire family are so unbelievably humbled by your efforts.. your some real badasses. I ill go as far as saying we love you... until we play cricket. Then ill call you all thieving bastards. And we will win the ashes x
To say Britain doesn’t recognise the sacrifice of the colonies is simply incorrect. Quite the opposite
@@jonhill3328 Churchill certainly didn't recognize aussie sacrifices
@@spacejesus4541 Churchill didnt recognize his own countrymen's sacrifices
Well he is part of the Labor party after all
Chairman Curtin might be gone but the dreams lives on comrade!
@@aroguetea3580that comrade saw us through to victory during the second world war. The resources and manpower we had to defend Australia at the time was insufficient and we'd never fought a defensive war in our history if the Japanese had the resources they'd hoped they have they would have invaded the mainland and we would have needed nothing less every man and woman and resource to stop them. Undoubtedly if our country and its citisens didnt rise to occasion as they did we were likely to suffer complete anhilation or a brutal guerilla war on mainland Australia
@@lachlanhawkes-law3396Nicely said he was a man like Chifley who put Australia first .
I can't wait until he wins the Gulag and finally comes back
