I honestly dont know how this channel isn’t way bigger than it is by this point. Ive followed you for years and these are the best travel videos on youtube by a mile
I think Istanbul looks so exotic. One of the coolest things about Istanbul is that it is the ONLY city that straddles TWO continents. One part is in Europe🌍and the other is in Asia! 🌏How cool is that?!!
Great film and amazingly well shot. Istanbul is, as with most of your films on my list as well. You mentioning things like it being easy to navigate and use transport is encouraging. Enjoy your dolphin mate
Thanks for taking along this travel to Istanbul, I enjoyed seeing both the oldness of the city with modernists, watching the different food was a pleasure to watch. I am not sure if I will make it to Istanbul but I am grateful to have seen from your video.
As a Bolivian citizen my passport power is so lousy that I need to do tons of paperwork for every country I want to visit, but I realize that I have visa free for Turkey so I was expecting your take on Istanbul. Thank you so much for your help, soon I will in UAE so your previous videos have been very informative
Thank you very much for your video. Beautiful place. Nicely done and informative. Just about to book my tickets for next month. I am very excited. My dream comes true.
Fantastic piece once again. Istanbul seems to have a charm that's hard to explain. This city is on the top of the list of cities to visit for me, hopefully some day in the not so distant future.
An excellent episode, as always! Makes me want to plan a trip to Istanbul ASAP. Hopefully, you'll cover the following cities soon too: Seoul, Hanoi, Nairobi, Buenos Aires, Bangkok, Kolkata, Manila, Jakarta.
Great video, to add one note Id highly recommend getting the museum pass. Its a onetime fee that gives you access to hundreds of historical places and museums all around the country not just in Istanbul. The ability to skip the commonly long lines at places like Topkai palace make it worthwhile.
I just returned from my first trip to Istanbul. Fascinating city! I exclusively used my Uber app to reserve taxis that took me to various locations in the city. I had no trouble, no one overpriced the ride, the ride, and it was a pleasant experience. 🌹
Videos about travel should be like this. Informative and brilliantly presented. Amazing work. I hope you will make videos about some Indian cities as well. ❤
@Attachetravel Istanbul Is Europes Biggest/Largest City the City is Huge Massive it’s a Megacity,it’s a Historical City but is Very Modern aswell with modern Highrise and Skyscrapers Everywere you look the City public transport system is under going a Massive Construction to construct 12 more Metro lines to stop the bad Traffic congestion in the city old buildings are getting knocked down and new ones that are Earthquake proof are getting built the city is in constant Construction but it’s a lively city that never sleeps. And Also for people that are coming to visit Istanbul the City has 2 international Airports one on Asian side one on European side and both have a Underground Metro line linking the 2 Airports to the city’s major Hubs
Thank you for sharing! If I could ask... I am almost ready to purchase a last minute ticket to Istanbul, spur of the moment thing. Then I saw that floods and rains of the last few days. Is it still advisable to go? It would be my first visit to Istanbul, so the list includes all the classical sights.
Re Taxis: also make sure the meter isn't flashing/displaying "gece" if it's daytime. It should say "gunduz" during the day. Night time "gece" rates are higher than day time "gunduz" rates.
@@attachetravel I'd also add be careful about what ATM and where. My mom had trouble with an ATM in Bodrum where the machine seemed to eat her card. Thieves had added a skimmer that also captured her PIN and kept the card. By time she was able to report it to her bank it had been used several times, including for cash withdrawal. Her bank wouldn't cover the cash withdrawals since it was done with her pin.
@@attachetravel On a more positive note, I absolutely loved the tavuk durum in Taksim. The guys on the end by Taksim square, the statue, taksim metro station. They are from the east of Turkey and seasoned their chicken differently.
about time! 😁. we visited Istanbul last April and what an experience! the history, the architecture and of course the food and drinks! Hard To Beat. for changing money, the exchange rates inside the Grand Bazaar are better and that Istanbul card BTW, can be used by 2 or more people 👍. Who does that?
your travel content is absolutely fantastic! this video on the Istanbul Travel Guide was incredibly informative and well-executed. Interestingly, during a recent Zoom session with Lisa Haisha, an inspirational life coach used your videos to emphasize the importance of cultural understanding and how your guides can help travelers navigate new destinations effectively. Keep up the excellent work, Attache! 🌍🕌 #Attache #TravelGuide
great video............i so miss coffee since my cycling accident and doing so much damage to my neck that hot drinks are banned as i have to hold my breath to drink anything...........nio cold coffee is not the same as an espresso
Also don’t think I didn’t notice the sepia filter and the efforts for narrative and orientalism by the footage and editing as well, it is impossible to find an Istanbul showcase without any manipulation sadly, it doesn’t do good for my mental health that yearns for objective presentation, BetterHealth is there for me i guess! But they don’t feature the sepia filter, as you should know, istanbul citizens like me don’t exist outside of sepia filters! Oh snap! I am also not an old man who wears old fashioned clothing and earn a living out of squeezing lemons or fishing, I mustn’t exist as well! How come a person like me exist in Istanbul? I must be a Turkified Greek but I will never be a European! ( congrats Sigmund Freud, you dived into my deep desires) so I should embrace my culture that is led by orientalist UA-cam footage as is! Hahah
*Good. But, Why did not you mention the food prices with restaurant locations? I visited Istanbul in 2021. I wanted to know the present prices because of the inflation after 2021. Plz mention prices next time. Details doesnt matter without specifics. Remember? Thanks.* Deutschland/ 2023.
They are taking photos of the uncles and grandmothers of older generation’s less technologically adept, and out of fashion people as the people of Istanbul over and over and over and over again as if they are in some open world exhibition 😂
I don't think it's right to eschew a country's people because of the whims of their government. In fact I feel that would be doing the people of Turkey (or any other country for that matter) a great disservice.
I spent two months in Istanbul (Kadiköy) in the summer of 2023. It was amazing. The city is beautiful, vibrant, and the ferries are so affordable I rode one almost every day. Inexpensive trips down the bosphorus both day and night will give you an excellent tour of the area. I would return in a heartbeat!
Great guide, I'm going back to ISTANBUL in a few days and I watch a lot of videos, I thought this one would be just another tourist video. But he actually highlights some of the great food you should try out and great tips. Video saved!

Istanbul has been on my list for so long! I've been in the airport so many times. One of these days I'll have to get out there.
That airport is something else. Magnificent.
I think Istanbul looks so exotic. One of the coolest things about Istanbul is that it is the ONLY city that straddles TWO continents. One part is in Europe🌍and the other is in Asia! 🌏How cool is that?!!
Yeah it's pretty amazing on many different levels.
Suez, Egypt sits on the border between Asia and Africa. There are cities in Russia and Kazakhstan that straddle Europe and Asia as well.
Russia is called Eurasia, in Asia and Europe
Gorgeous video - thank you both! And, Greg…damn…that cinematography is next level spectacular!
Thanks, James!
Istanbul is a kingdom of cats. They are absolutely everywhere around the city. They are tame and very affectionate.
Nothing beats Tel Aviv as the capital of stray cats 🐈
It’s the city Of Cats but that’s a good thing coz were there is Cats there will be NO Rats or Mouse New York City is full of Rats it’s Discusting
Yeah there was definitely no shortage of cats!
Istanbul is a wonderful city that I've always wanted to visit. Thanks for this video.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Dude, so psyched about the dolphin.
Gold Standard of travel videos! Istanbul looks and sounds amazing, especially the breakfasts 🤤

I am already looking forward to getting back to Istanbul. It was captivating.

Absolutely amazing highlight of Istanbul! I have been meaning to go for a long time. I will have to make my way there sometime next year!
Istanbul is stunning.

Ah fantastic, enjoy!
Hosgeldin! It's finally great to see Attache at my hometown.
Hope we did it justice!

You can also take M11 metro to get to center from new istanbul airport.
We have something called a "Donair" here in Nova Scotia, which I guess gets confused with a doner (and gyro) a lot.

Wow, that's kind!

I know, I have no idea why it took us 60 episodes to get here. Interestingly, we had one Istanbul Card between 3 people. Worked great.
Dang, I just went to Istanbul 😂
Did you enjoy?

Really?? Well that’s pretty cool. I wonder if there’s a recording or transcript of that anywhere.
Do one for philadelphia!!
One of the world's most important cities alongside Rome and Jerusalem. So much history there - the capital of 3 empires.

It’s a beautiful city, but many thieves, fraudsters are there. One must be extremely careful. I hated my visit there.
Yes, it does have its fair share of frustrations.
