As a canadian football/soccer fan im 13 i was really little watching this but i will never forget the experience watching giovinco and bradley in there primes play for us. This was my favorite season and match of all time. unfortunately the glory of our team is coming to an end but i still really love it and will always watch TFC in their ups and downs.

Not only did they win, they did it in such a dominant fashion. Seattle never had a chance from the the first whistle. Every player on the field played like a man possessed! When we lost last year I told my son it was for a reason... so that the triumph this season would be all that much sweeter. The whole season felt like fate. Winning the Canadian Championship, dominating the league with a record breaking season, winning the Shield, battling through a dicey two rounds of the playoffs, and capping it all off with a revenge win of the Cup in resounding fashion. Being a season seat holder from the beginning makes this win all the more special. From worst in the world to best team in MLS history is an incredible thing to witness. I already can't wait to see TFC continue these accomplishments next year in Concacaf and the 2018 season. Repeat champs!!! Go Reds!
1 year ago I was top comment after we lost 1-0 to Montreal. I had said how we should sack Vanney and "get a real coach". I was wrong. He proved me wrong, this team, this incredible team goes down in history with the best coach to ever handle a team. Thank you, Greg Vanney. Thank you, Toronto. CHAMPIONS OF MLS!
It was probably your emotions reacting to the loss, but even with that loss last year, I have found that Vanney is a coach that can quickly learn from his mistakes. He certainly made the right choices tonight and out-coached Schmetzer.

Schmetzer gambled by placing Jones in left back, changing Seattle's very solid defense that worked well over the last month or so. Also, he didn't adapt quickly enough after the half to adjust to Toronto's attacking and counter-attacking pressure. Still, Seattle played a difficult game, and major props to Frei for keeping the team in the hunt.
Supported this team when the likes of Danny Dichio were the key players and Chad Barrett missed empty netters on a weekly basis. Finally a Toronto team won a North American Championship, last time this happened was in 1993 with the Blue Jays and I wasn't even born yet. Not only are TFC champions, they won a treble! Best team in MLS history!!!
It's been 5 days now that I keep watching these highlights. I just can't stop watching them. I was born and raised in Italy, but because my mom was from TO I started following TFC since day one. I still remember watching games at 2/3 am on terrible fields with football lines. But I always believed this championship had potential, and this club just as well. Finally in 2012 when I moved to Toronto I could've start following TFC at BMO. Call me crazy but I always believed this club was always really trying to be great. They brought us De Rosario, Frings, Julio Cesar, Defoe, Bradley, but when they did the impossible with Giovinco, that's when I knew we were gonna start a new chapter. I'm not surprised we won, I'm surprised of how much we dominated the whole season. This is a letter of love to this club. Go Toronto Football Club!

Watching this team's turnaround has been amazing. For the better part of 10 years, TFC were absolute basement dwellers. The job of head coach was a veritable revolving door. They made countless changes in the front office. The roster changes were innumerable. Then one year, they finally clicked, and made it to the playoffs. They crashed out in the knockout round, but they finally had something to build on. The very next year, they were MLS Cup runners up. Now they're MLS Cup champions. Well done, Toronto Football Club!
This is one of the most electrifying MLS finals in history, Stefan Frei was unstopable at goal. And the whole TFC team had worked at their hardest to the championship. Third, I am a Dempsey fan from the first game I saw him play for the revs. Fourth, everybody was right about Bradley appearing lost in international play. Fifth, Toronto was the best team in the MLS and they dominated this game. TFC has come a long way, from laughing stock to champions. Yes the Argonauts won the Grey Cup in the CFL a few weeks ago..but that's a 9 team league strictly within Canada vs a 22 team league spanning 2 counties. Toronto can now legitimately say we've won a major championship title in modern history.

Dear TFC fans, your energy lights up BMO Place and your chants are.magnificent. Flag waving, especially when it is below 7 degrees Celsius. Soccer changes lives. When humans are happy, they love themselves as well as others and therefore less conflict. Those men who beat up their wives should try it. They may learn something other than drinking beer. Beer is good when taken responsibly. I like beer myself. ----My people, when we, humans interact with joy for a beautiful game like this, we tend to forget our own little problems. Our Canadian Soccer has evolved. You can ask our former Goal Keeper, Craig Forrest. We have kids playing everywhere from ages as young as 3. Yes, as long as you can kick, you got a chance bro or sis! Football family is fair and so is life. If you fail to work hard, you will dry up like unwatered tree in Kalhari desert. Respect yourself, your family, your friends your environment and above all RESPECT SOCCER !

Moor , Beitashour , and all the rest - what a team !!! ALTIDOOOOORREE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Game winner again - first over Columbus and now Seattle !!! First, I love soccer. Second, the delay to play the MLS Cup was too long. Third, I am a Dempsey fan from the first game I saw him play for the revs. Fourth, everybody was right about Bradley appearing lost in international play. Fifth, Toronto was the best team in the MLS and they dominated this game. Sixth, I would give the MVP award to Bradley because he was without a doubt the best player in the game and the most valuable player on the team along with Gio. Much respect for Bradley. He is surely on the short list of best American soccer players. ....By the way....go Atlanta United! Tata is the best coach to coach on American soil! Unite and conquer!

Use google and search the variety of articles and neutral soccer voices take on TFC pre Giovinco, Altidore, Bradley and Vasquez era. Losers was a nice way of putting it. From 2007-2014 we were a burning trash can dressed in red.

TFC has come a long way, from laughing stock to champions. Yes the Argonauts won the Grey Cup in the CFL a few weeks ago..but that's a 9 team league strictly within Canada vs a 22 team league spanning 2 counties. Toronto can now legitimately say we've won a major championship title in modern history.
