@@adilali5517 shoaib not in 96-97...against india formidable but vs sri lanka, only bowling pak was stronger, fielding, unity and gameplan ,captaincy, batting -sri lanka was top in subcontinent...so it was upset if ind,pak won them
@@ellikutty You need to check the meaning of the word " upset " in cricketing language. SL was no Australia and even beating Australia was never an upset for India or Pakistan

Afridi should've always opened in subcontinent conditions. He was much more dangerous there. In the lower order, he was often useless and dint have the temperament to finish games.
Or maybe replace Afridi with a better opener? Afridi is overrated as a batsmen. Guys like Saeed Anwar, Ijaz Ahman, Amir Sohail, Misbah Ul Haq, Abdul Razzak and even Kamran Akmal were much better then him. I sometimes wish Afridi never scored his then fastest century, because of which he ensured his place as an opening batsmen, taking place of someone more deserving and hampering our batting performance for years!
The asian team that can upset sl in 96-97 was pak....also nostalgia of wills kings bat searching in shops😇😇
With players like Wasim, Waqar, Shoaib, Saeed Anwar, Inzi, in the team, upset would be a wrong word.

Arslan Majid may have this full game. U can ask him
Good hitting by Afridi. Always making impact in the game for any one of his abilities. Batting, bowling or fielding.
Afridi is batting like a bowler and bowling like a batsman. Very unpredictable
Days when the Pakistani🇵🇰 team was dangerous... Abhi toh Puri fuski hai...
If my memory serves right it was back to back sixes bhai...i was in 5th std annual leave
Thanks for correction
