Most fans this size these days are being powered by single speed Industrial Variable Frequency Direct Drive Servo motors.... Very Impressive Very Powerful !
No. More blades mean less air. They chop up and distort the air, and it makes a dead zone around the fan where there is a vacuum effect and air just lingers. It's why vintage 4 blade ceiling fans work better than the new garbage that has 6 blades.
@@MrWolfSnack not if they are pitched enough, I got a Colombian made pedestal fan with 6 deep pitched blades that quietly pushes a strong amount of air even on the lowest setting, when you put that on high, it sways a bit more than those loud and crappy Lasko Cyclones, search for Samurai Turbo Silence Maxx models, they are just the ultimate house fans, they can go on par with or maybe better than cheap floor industrial fans.
M MASHEEN I use it for my warehouse I own a pool service company so I keep tons of chemicals in there. I need a fan to circulate all the air. if not the chlorine smell is to strong! I could have went with a smaller one but this does the job a lot faster
It's really more appropriate for a large industrial type building. I don't think you would like it in your home. Ceiling fans are more appropriate for homes and now days you can get large DC motor ceiling fans which are quiet (no humming) and move lots of air.
I plan on getting this one day in the future I set it up in the patio to bear the summer heat
wow. it runs slower than a typical condenser fan. but man, it moves a ton of air
I am surprised that it doesn’t seem to be that loud!
Because of the belt drive that is why it is so quiet
Amazing
Yes it is
It is amazing..... your trolling of fan videos that is... (:
SKMC69 hahaha I absolutely love these fans!! everybody that steps into my warehouse always talks about it!
It sounds like ceiling fan noise 😂
I wonder if u can convert it into a direct drive fan maybe that would make it more powerful

If you swapped the pulleys around, would it spin any faster provided the motor had enough torque?
Yes, but it will make the motor become prone to overheating
Good fan
How many watts at the low setting?
Hey thats not bad at all! Super quiet compared to others ive seen. Is 3 blade better than the 4 blades?
I thought more blades more air??

@@MrWolfSnack Using this logic two blades would be better than three.
@@aggiedave7793no tree better than 2
Can you decrease the speed on it? I basically want a vertical ceiling fan that I can wheel around.
Yes you can
What's the CFM rating on a 3 blade 60 inch. My 5 blade states 22,000
SKMC69 the Description on the fans website says 19,000 CFM

LOL!! Thats what she said!
Thanks I ordered it online from Home Depot.com worth every penny!!
jlaudiojorge I seen drum fans big but not as big as that and what did you order it for

How big is the fan, circulating CFMs?
60 inches
How many CFMs does it produce?
ok mr.intel pentium boi
Sounds like a helicopter at 3:07
Hello, Could I use this fan inside my home for air circulation or is it too noisy? Thanks
I would.
No. This fan is about as big as 2 or 3 washing machines. It will not fit in your house or through the door. And it requires 220v or higher AC.
@@MrWolfSnack Thanks, Much appreciated.
@@MrWolfSnack I'm pretty sure this is a 120v motor.
