I used to be a fan of Pashay Brnj, the so-called "King of Rice" in Slemani, Kurdistan. He got popular through his TikTok videos, and I was excited to try his food. But now, it feels like he's lost the respect he once had. The quality of the food isn't what it used to be, and it's no longer special. The hype around his dishes was huge, but now it feels like it's just that-hype.
Honestly, it's disappointing. His attitude has changed since he became popular. He's not respectful anymore, and it shows in his service. The once mouth-watering dishes now feel average at best. What happened to the fresh, vibrant flavors and the care in preparation? It seems like he's just riding the wave of his past success without putting in the same effort.
If you're looking for genuinely great street food, you might want to look elsewhere. Don't let the TikTok fame fool you.
The King of Rice is no longer the king of quality.

Thank you, and i respect you for your beautiful video, but i’m sorry this doesn’t look like a king for me, i never tried his food and never will, so i don’t know how it’s but it doesn’t look healthy at all, as it’s full of oil which is the worst thing in the world, doesn’t look clean as well , and he’s not a respectful guy as an owner of such a big restaurant !!
There’s a lot more chefs who are famous, respectful to his staff and guests, has a clean restaurant, and tasty food…
So this guy is not king, but the people made him like this, and now he has has a very bad attitude over everyone…
