What some people fail to see is that gwavi is trying to take music to a different level. He isn't doing the usual. Ever wondered why as a Christian u may still listen to secular music or about love or whatever? It's because they talk about stuff that u relate too and because of the flesh. So that's why. So what has gwavi done? He is doing what secular music does but for God. He makes the beats enticing to the flesh and addictive but he talks about God's love for us and glorifying God with a different sound. It's even deeper than that..he makes love songs about a person (God). When u tell people about jesus and etc..
Isn't one of the questions about do u have a personal relationship with jesus Christ like do u know him? Well this is what gwavi is giving u people. He makes the relationship with God really personal with his songs that's why some of u are confused if hes singing about a woman because he goes deep. Christ relationship to Gwavi is deep. HE is making personal love songs about God that makes u feel related to him which is why u are addicted to gwavi sound but u aren't addicted to him he's leading u to the addiction of Christ.
