When you do combos with GS, do you dash cancel more or chase dodge cancel more?

Thanks, so I did Nlight Opener to Slight Bridge then dash cancel into Slight Opener.
To dash cancel you hold down and dash, and when you do that you reset the combo and you can do it into another opener.
So you can do Slight or Dlight opener to Nlight Bridge dash cancel to Nlight Opener and it just looks like double nlight.

jump nair and that starts a juggle for good damage, so you can do nair recovery nair and depending on which legend you are you can try to hit gc nsig, or gc nlight with gs. I have a couple examples in my yt shorts but it might take you a while to find them.. but yeah jump nair is usually the best thing to go for.

@@uravani Cuz I did something like, slight dodge up sair then chase dodge dlight from air into nlight.....I tried to hit nlight after slight but its difficult timming to hit it perfectly. Is dodge up the worst dodge for gs?

Nah dodge up is one of the worst things to do against gs after spot dodge or in dodge, because you can get so much damage out of catching it with nair. You could always work on catching that dodge in training because it’s very useful to be able to do that. Also be careful when chase dodging in the air. It’s not really optimal, you’d only really go for that if you’re certain which way your opponent is gonna go, or if you’re trying to hit a clip or something.

you gotta learn how to dash cancel. there should be tutorials on UA-cam, but once you learn that you can do greatsword bridges into openers. instead of the regular opener > bridge > finisher. I’m probably gonna make a tutorial on this too since other people wanna know this as well
