I gravitated toward pile 1, but it didn't seem to resonate. The other person I wanted to know how he felt about is a girl who was a mutual old classmate - someone I know everyone else in class thought was hot. Recently my DM has reached out and started reconnecting with old classmates, and I was concerned about whether or not he still had the chance of developing feelings for this girl.
