I'd b HAPPY if, when I'm that age I'm called an old badass. Here's the problem with people wanting everything to b new & fast, that's fine, but, don't forget the past times, learn them in fact. I feel really blessed to have been born in 1965, some of the greatest rock & country music ever was written & played then. The attitudes that went with them, not just cool but still relevant. And some of America's most pivotal events in American history happened in the century I was born in. I was blessed to have been taught music from years before I was born & the music coming out as I grew up, I didn't meet many other 5-10 year old kids who could, like me, tell u band members, albums & lyrics for everyone from Black Sabbath, The Stones, The Who to Black Oak Arkansas, Skynyrd & the rest of the greats. Playing along the Ohio River with only the light of the stars & lamp in living room to c by singing If you've got the money honey I've got the time, Satin Sheets & Jolene, (thank you Jeanne & Dolly). Didn't just learn the music, like I said, learned the attitude that went with it. I tried to teach my child bout music from before and during my younger years & thankfully, she's got a wide range of appreciation. I encourage everyone who has kids, grandkids and great grandkids to teach them music history. Motown's got amazing beautiful music, I sang Betcha By Golly Wow to my baby when she was born, I mean not a day old. Don't let this amazing era & all that came with it slip away.

I saw him in concert in Las Vegas and a couple of the fans were just standing by the stage talking about how great the concert was and he came out set down on the end of the stage signed autographs and talk to us for like an hour

There are very few people you can describe as treasures. I'm not even one of you hard-core Willie fans, and even I always knew he was possibly the most honest musical artist I've ever seen. Then you get a sense of his goodness and directness and how hard he works in his life and you realize he's the complete package. I always hear people describe him as "one of a kind"...Maybe...but I darn well *know* there aren't many like him...
You are so correct sir, I have met Wiile many times and I know he is what he says and doesn't say....he is a humble man and can be very direct in a good way, Willie is an American treasure. Long live Willie ❤

I sacrificed three years of my life by allowing my brother to spend the night on my couch, you see he was still there 3 years later. He abused me terribly that entire time. Next month he'll get out of the facility he is in and he has turned down the opportunity for subsidized housing. Obviously he plans to come and live with me for free again. I have moved but he will easily find me. God give me the strength not to let him in the door!!
