Yeahh, in my first playthrough by 8 hours in i was just starting bolotky village, as i was such a money and loot hog. I had 20k and refused to buy new guns or ammo.
By level 3 I was so poor that I got into the sigma grindset and took some time just making money. This was the same time I noticed that there was a shooting range in the game so I started checking out the guns. I noticed that the FAL, SCAR, and DVL shared the same ammo, and when I searched it up learned that the FAL was at level 4 and the latter two were at level 5. So when I got to level 4 I bought the FAL, and only the FAL, and three extra boxes of ammo for it (which was around 12k worth if I remember), which made me BROKE. After playing for a while though I got my money back and then some. I took as many missions as I could (and made sure they were all in Kolkhoz), grabbed every artifact I could find, picked up two guns (both were stowed while the FAL was permanently in my hands), did the shopping list mission (5k!), and while I was going back to base I picked up another gun and did the trick where you walked with empty hands and "summoned" the guns when I was near the exit. All in all I got home with about a dozen artifacts, three salvaged guns, and six missions, bringing me to around 30k in profits. And it was juuuuust enough that after selling the FAL, reusing attachments, and not buying any ammo (remember I bought extra), I got both the SCAR with an EOTECH, a flashlight, a laser, and three magazines, and the DVL with the 7-35x scope and two magazines with 800 bucks left in my account.
7.62x25mm supremacy! I've been carrying my first found TT-33 with me and it's so, so reliable. Sure, the 8 round mag is an issue, but the dead-on accuracy and power has saved my ass time and time again. Imagine if they gave us the 1911/USP and the Kriss Vector as the .45 ACP counterpart to the Tokarev firearms though.
@@ahyes2 Oh yeah, I forgot that the Tommy Gun was chambered in .45. Yeah, it would be an awesome equivalent to the PPsH, especially considering that it also has a choice between box mag and drum mag. And I'm saying this as someone who loathes the Tommy Gun for its clunkiness and horrendous ironsights--- which is why I forgot about it until now
My beautiful SKS did not deserve that shade :( It's honestly like an early-game mosin: high damage (for early game), good armor pierce (like the AKM, since both use the same ammo), and uses the same scope as the mosin. I got it early on in my first playthrough and used it consistently until Kolkhoz. Even took it as my primary through the whole Pobeda bomb mission and it served wonderfully. Wish it still had the bayonet though, I didn't play ITR until 2.5 so I never got to experience the SKS's glory days.
I mostly agree, but the saiga is a beast.... 10 rapid fire shotgun shells finishes everything. My first playthrough was with the OC33 (for its massive magazine) and the saiga and I never changed guns. I think the ak variants are so common that we end up using them by default. They can do everything and easy to find.
Cost is a factor the baretta is definitely a better bang for your buck plus if you're like me and dislike auto fire baretta is definitely a good choice
The Glock would be good if I hadn't had it jam on the first fucking magazine I put through it after repairs on multiple occasions. I'm like 70% sure CM modeled the limp wrist stove pipe to actually happen in game.
I have a challenge run idea (you might hate it though lol): You cannot use S or A tier guns (from this list you made) but the guns you can use are made much easier to get somehow Idk, I just thought it'd be a funny idea, you don't have to torture yourself like that
Great tier list! Community weapon ranking? Why not? Learned a ton from your videos and using all of the guns in game. After watching you play, I have learned to use health shots and artifacts indiscriminately to help let go of saving the game. Would like to share a bit of my experience. I love doing night raids and the M4 with 5 attachments is a lot of fun. I get the EOPS Scope on the top to point and shoot in the dark with the suppressor; Spectr 4x Scope on the side for the long-range situations; laser pointer and a flashlight for shootouts, suppressed on occasion. The flashlight on the gun goes much further than the flashlight does, and provides that thrill of seeing the enemies detaching from the surrounding darkness within its limited scope. Love the Mosin, but having it as your only rifle against an onslaught of sliders makes me feel dumb - which I probably was. Should have paired it with +P munition on the M9. The Saiga is easy to use but its shorter range makes daring to use the IZh-81 a lot of fun. Until next time!
I absolutely love the m14. It's got really good damage, good for both long range with its iron sights, and the semi auto nature is excellent for close range. I never found the recoil to be a problem at all as you're typically not going to be rapidly pressing the trigger fast enough for it to be a problem.
You can crawl around like a rat at the beginning of the game with a TT-33 and get the AKM and AK74 + some magazines early. You can also buy 7.62x39 early because of the SKS, this is pretty much my go to when I play the game.

The TT33 is great, but the mag size really hurts for me. Love the way it feels and I feel like I never miss but I'm always getting that "wtf I'm out" moment when I'm in the thick of it
I honestly agree that the Mosin goes higher than the DVL, though both should be S-Tier. While the DVL is constantly suppressed already and does the most damage of any gun, the bolt isn't as ergonomic and the Mosin can be topped up easily at any time between picking off enemies because of the internal clip. This frees up mag pouches for anything else while also not having the hassle of switching bullets between mags.
@@Synthetizard Sniper ammo is expensive! Update from recent experience: One more reason the Mosin-Nagant is the best sniper rifle is that you can still use the ironsights while there is also a PU Scope attached. This has saved my ass countless times now. Sure, a laser can do the same job, but when you're already scoped in and you sense something approaching, the efficiency between raising the rifle slightly to aim through your ironsights as opposed to moving the rifle sidewards to tag with a laser makes a split-second difference. Also, the ironsights is still better for aiming at close-mid range. On top of this, you can freely load an AP round into the chamber when engaging a mixed group of Mimics. Shoot an FMJ or two, then load two AP rounds to one-tap approaching armored enemies without hassle! As long as you're not getting mobbed in all directions, the Mosin-Nagant is the perfect all-purpose, all-range weapon!
@@JohnPeacekeeper but like 7.62x51 FMJ is already passively armor piercing, so it's a lot less of a hassle imo with the diversant. I still think the irons thing is cool but like there's a sight on the top of the 4x anyways so it doesn't really matter, plus better damage, rounds per mag, and it taking whole mags in the first place

I was sad with the placement of the Fal for being such a cheaper version of the Scar and carrying me through castle with the two annoying final sliders that killed me more times than in the entire game, it’s a really good weapon I have had more experience with i tho so yeah
what about the side-by-side hunting shotgun, its not in the store, but you can find it in the radius with the tank. I used it for allmost the entire game after finding it. A tier is my opinion
im ok with the list, apart from the sks being d tier. its dogshit dont get me wrong, but you remember your first play through getting it early on and thinking you've made it in the game. just for that memory, it should at least go in c
Hmm, I might want to make my own list now, since my playstyle is the direct opposite of yours: Hoard everything and grind for guns. Also, the SKS is amazing and I'm willing to die on that hill.
Personally, I absolutely adore the VSS Vintorez. Between an integrally suppressed rifle, semi-auto fire rate (because let’s be real, you shouldn’t be using full auto at all, unless you want to waste ammo), and 9x39 being subsonic, it makes for an amazing ninja rifle in the Radius. Plus the AS-VAL mag can be inserted into the VSS, so instead of 20 rounds you can hold 30.
I remember my load out for the castle, Spas 12 and OC-33 because I thought it would be almost all CQB. I was wrong. And I got screwed over near the end of it. I did complete it though with very little ammo.
the val's ups and downs are considerable. fast firerate = mag gets emptied uncomfortably quick (down) integrated suppressor = no need to waste extra money (up) lightweight = basically a superior AKS74U (up) cute and compact = better appearance (mega up personally)
I've gotten multiple glocks in both factory and botloki, totally can get one before kolkos. Also the sawn off is really good in the first couple hours, as a new player, it definitely carried me all the way to factory along with the stash tt33 i found completely on accident first time playing the game. Looking forward to beating it honestly.
There are two Glocks in the game, the g17, which can be obtained as early as pervomay by stash, and the g18c. Which is the one that spawns out in kolkhoz. As for the sawn off I can see how it can be an attractive option for new players, but a knife gets the job done better. With the added bonus of not attracting the entire map to your location. Sawn off is very loud
Not sure why everyone hates the Groza... I used it a lot and loved the weapon. Only thing is that it is a must to make sure you have a proper scope and laser on it. It does look funky. But its short style is amazingly great for CQB in buildings.
Tbh, in an objective tier list, every rifle would be in s tier and everything else may as well be in f tier. Everything's super fun to use but even low level rifles trivialize the combat compared to other weapons

Idk about propane tanks it's a love hate on one hand very fun and useful but on the other hand the amount of times I've killed myself trying to goof around with them
I experimented with almost every gun in my play through but eventually my main guns ended up being the M4 on my shoulder and The PPSH on my bag “because i found drum mags for it” and then I kept a suppressed G18c in my bag and then I dual wielded deagles. Edit : I also swap the gun on my bag between the sawed off double barrel and the PP.
The Vintorez has 95% accuracy vs the Val's 80% accuracy. If you really enjoy full auto, that's your prerogative but imo the Vintorez belongs in S Tier as the ultimate Late game/post game daily driver, put a 1x-4x scope and a B laser on it and a Val mag full of FMJ and it wins the meta. In my current playthrough, I'm actively avoiding using it, cause it's just too damn good at everything except extreme long range. YMMV
It maybe a not so important info But i found out today a GREAT USE for the Short-double shotgun :D It may have the SHORTEST shotgun range (4-5m?) BUT you can take its weakness **loudness** into a advantage :) Take the shotgun with ammo , dont forget granades or a useful gun. Go to a spot where you have a good amount of cover ( example Hole shelter in factory or treehouse in village ) There you shoot a lot of times the shotgun and the LOUD SOUND will attract All enamys nearby :D Then you kill all enamys of with Granades and your good weapon = nearly free map to explore and loot and profit :3 (just be careful to not SLEEP , most of the enamys will teleport back to their original Spot ) I did this today on factory and the whole building and surroundings was (exept 2-3 enamys) completly empty x,D Also it gives granades a niche use :D I know its a cheesy way to play , but it was funny and you can make use of bad / niche items :3
I have a little bit of a predicament, so I have a mosin with a ton of ammo with a PU scope and suppressor but I have a crap ton of tiger rifle mags should I buy the tiger rifle and use it or should I use the mosin ?

A question, what do you spend money on to the point you can't get Scar? 12k is not that much by that point really, ammunition also isn't as expensive, I wasn't grinding for it, I simply had a crap ton of money to burn so I did and oh my GOD it was worth it, this gun is just majestic and so much better than the rest it's ridiculous, almost the same thing for hunting shotgun, it may be not as usefull but DAMN it is FUN, Deagle is in very weird place for me because it is the only handgun I use once I get my hands on it but I do agree with you on some points on it, but still it's most powerfull mag fed handgun with built in rails and upgrades for accuracy and durability, it kills even armored mimics with two shots and doesn't need armor piercing ammution and I use it nearly exclusively when I'm purging locations so I don't mind that it's loud
The issue is the Scar doesn't mesh with my playstyle, by the time it's available I'm already in the last stretch of the game, and even at that point it's still overkill. I find more satisfaction in using lesser weapons that I scavenge. I guess I just don't like buying stuff
@@Synthetizard that's understandable, but you shouldn't then list money as the main issue, no matter how you look at it it's the best gun in the game and it is easy to get at the point when you unlock it

I seem to never agree with your rankings😅. I have no problem saving to buy my guns. I do enjoy finding weapons, but you are really harsh on weapons you cant find. I'd like to see a tierlist based on pure performance.
I haven’t tried the M9 yet, but I love the Glock 17. I tried it out in the range when I had just started out and really liked it so I’ve stuck with it since.
M9 generalls does higher damage, is more accurate, and far more reliable than Glock so it's basically a one step upgrade. The only thing the glock has is 2 more rounds in capacity. Both can be serviceable even to the end of the game of course.
The DVL is instant S tier IMO, never liked the MP5 and AUG though, since the grip distance when holding them is so close. never use the groza, FAL, or M4. M9 is king. II only do scav/stalker no buy runs now, so the pump and mosin are the most fun
I agree about the grip distance on the mp5, although it doesn't bother me on the Aug for some reason. While the dvl is good is just too expensive for how I like to play
You know it would be a fun challenge run the all-American run. you can only use the American weapons in the game such as the Glock, deagle, M9, and M4.
I'd be curious where the revolver sits on this tier list... like, sure it's pricy, but I like to keep it as my sidearm for dealing with trouble, and it frees up all my mag pouches so I can run 4 mags for my main gun in easy reach. that said, I'm also considering a 7.62x25 only run, where I grab a shawty ppsh and attempt to +P my way through the game.
I brought almost a thousand rounds for my ak 74 and it was almost unusable after about 300, the revolver carried me through almost all of the castle and was maybe about half broke after at least 200 rounds, it always one and two shot enemies. Definitely S tier
I literally hate the glock in this game, For some reason I cannot hit anything with its sights and when it does hit it just doesnt seem to do enough, its my least favorite pistol

I stand by it, it's great fun in pervomay and bolotky. Once you get to pobeda though there's really no reason to not switch to the izh81. Especially if you know where the stash is
I want to like the mosin rifle. It's free and I find many of them. But my rifle needs a scope and the scope mount is too far forward. I can't get my eyes up to the scope to see clearly. As such this is clearly a fail for me just due to ergonomics. Now on the other hand, your D ranking of the Grozin is just the opposite for me. This is my #1 weapon. It does the 2nd most damage for an assault rifle and has the grenade launcher which I find essential for the assault on the castle. Most importantly though it fits me egonomically perfectly. I usually just buy it outright as soon as possible without waiting to find a free one. So basically we like the opposite weapons but both of our reasoning is because of ergonomics. How a gun feels is most important.

I just found the Glock 17 on the second mission on top of the fuel container. My quest was Ab to die so I haven’t gotten back to clean it yet. So your telling me the mak is better than the glock 17? I hate only having 8 rounds in the mag. 17 sounds wayyyyyyyyyy better.
Maybe putting it below the makarov was too low, but still I stand by it being in c tier. My reasoning is that you can get an m9 just as easily, and it's an objectively better gun. Mind you I'm an experienced player. If I were to make a tier list from the perspective of a new player the glock would have a much different position. As can be said about a lot of my placements

the groza is the ugliest gun in the game. i can't even stand to look at it aesthetically without a suppressor and i don't even care much about stealth. and the way the optics sit on that suitcase handle thing... but it's a good gun to use
the DVL 10 is the most powerfull sniper rifle in game with a shot dmg of 180. 1 shot 1 kill, no matter where u aim. except for fragments because of the core and u put it on B 😂😂 anyway... my favourite run was with spas 12, because u dont have to waste time to hide and load a mag, low cost in ammo, it's semi automatic and inside buildings is a rhino, with slug ammo and acog sight was basically a sniper. at the left side of the backpack a mosin nagant with just the ammo that can fit in the main frame plus the 5 in the stock (just to have more accuracy in hard situations). and now after the 2.7.1 update the MP412 Rex for the same reason (no mag to refil) and the power of a sniper rifle in the palm of your hands. (with the rex i basically kept the box of ammo in my left hand and every shot was a easy reload. i felt like cheating with it 😄

I'm gonna disagree with you irl and in game 9x18 is a lackluster cartridge and only 8 rounds of an anemic caliber is less than preferable in conclusion small bullet and small capacity less than ideal

The video was intended to be a quick, fun project to put out in between larger videos. I made that clear in the first minute of the video. I'm not sure what youre talking about with not deciding how to rank them. I clearly outlined that I was ranking them based on my minimalist playstyle instead of based purely on stats
It's definitely a good rifle but the Aug wins out over it imo. Plus modularity isn't really a big deal for me as I run my guns completely stock most of the time

if you didnt know, the aug spawns in Pobeda Factory on a certain floating truck by a watchtower near the end of the reveines.

Honestly, the AKM carried me through the game. It’s really good, looks awesome, and is oddly cheap.

Update from recent experience: One more reason the Mosin-Nagant is the best sniper rifle is that you can still use the ironsights while there is also a PU Scope attached. This has saved my ass countless times now.
Sure, a laser can do the same job, but when you're already scoped in and you sense something approaching, the efficiency between raising the rifle slightly to aim through your ironsights as opposed to moving the rifle sidewards to tag with a laser makes a split-second difference. Also, the ironsights is still better for aiming at close-mid range.
On top of this, you can freely load an AP round into the chamber when engaging a mixed group of Mimics. Shoot an FMJ or two, then load two AP rounds to one-tap approaching armored enemies without hassle!
As long as you're not getting mobbed in all directions, the Mosin-Nagant is the perfect all-purpose, all-range weapon!
@@JohnPeacekeeper but like 7.62x51 FMJ is already passively armor piercing, so it's a lot less of a hassle imo with the diversant. I still think the irons thing is cool but like there's a sight on the top of the 4x anyways so it doesn't really matter, plus better damage, rounds per mag, and it taking whole mags in the first place

I was sad with the placement of the Fal for being such a cheaper version of the Scar and carrying me through castle with the two annoying final sliders that killed me more times than in the entire game, it’s a really good weapon I have had more experience with i tho so yeah
what about the side-by-side hunting shotgun, its not in the store, but you can find it in the radius with the tank. I used it for allmost the entire game after finding it. A tier is my opinion
im ok with the list, apart from the sks being d tier. its dogshit dont get me wrong, but you remember your first play through getting it early on and thinking you've made it in the game. just for that memory, it should at least go in c
Hmm, I might want to make my own list now, since my playstyle is the direct opposite of yours: Hoard everything and grind for guns.
Also, the SKS is amazing and I'm willing to die on that hill.

The sks is good when you get it but it does less damage than an ak so it's a lackluster late game option it's a bloody shame it has such low damage
Personally, I absolutely adore the VSS Vintorez. Between an integrally suppressed rifle, semi-auto fire rate (because let’s be real, you shouldn’t be using full auto at all, unless you want to waste ammo), and 9x39 being subsonic, it makes for an amazing ninja rifle in the Radius. Plus the AS-VAL mag can be inserted into the VSS, so instead of 20 rounds you can hold 30.
I remember my load out for the castle, Spas 12 and OC-33 because I thought it would be almost all CQB. I was wrong. And I got screwed over near the end of it. I did complete it though with very little ammo.
Watching this almost a year later shows how much growth synth has gone through
the val's ups and downs are considerable.
fast firerate = mag gets emptied uncomfortably quick (down)
integrated suppressor = no need to waste extra money (up)
lightweight = basically a superior AKS74U (up)
cute and compact = better appearance (mega up personally)
puts scar at C, because its expensive xD. Id say A at least because the price. Best gun in the game

I've gotten multiple glocks in both factory and botloki, totally can get one before kolkos. Also the sawn off is really good in the first couple hours, as a new player, it definitely carried me all the way to factory along with the stash tt33 i found completely on accident first time playing the game. Looking forward to beating it honestly.
There are two Glocks in the game, the g17, which can be obtained as early as pervomay by stash, and the g18c. Which is the one that spawns out in kolkhoz. As for the sawn off I can see how it can be an attractive option for new players, but a knife gets the job done better. With the added bonus of not attracting the entire map to your location. Sawn off is very loud
You can actually find a Glock in Pervomay Route, you just have to go over to the barracks, and get on top of the three big gas tanks
Not sure why everyone hates the Groza... I used it a lot and loved the weapon. Only thing is that it is a must to make sure you have a proper scope and laser on it. It does look funky. But its short style is amazingly great for CQB in buildings.
Tbh, in an objective tier list, every rifle would be in s tier and everything else may as well be in f tier. Everything's super fun to use but even low level rifles trivialize the combat compared to other weapons

Idk about propane tanks it's a love hate on one hand very fun and useful but on the other hand the amount of times I've killed myself trying to goof around with them
I experimented with almost every gun in my play through but eventually my main guns ended up being the M4 on my shoulder and The PPSH on my bag “because i found drum mags for it” and then I kept a suppressed G18c in my bag and then I dual wielded deagles.
Edit : I also swap the gun on my bag between the sawed off double barrel and the PP.

It’s kinda over kill but I like the ak74m with the recoil upgrade. It doesn’t bounce around hardly at all when firing at semi or full auto

The Vintorez has 95% accuracy vs the Val's 80% accuracy. If you really enjoy full auto, that's your prerogative but imo the Vintorez belongs in S Tier as the ultimate Late game/post game daily driver, put a 1x-4x scope and a B laser on it and a Val mag full of FMJ and it wins the meta.
In my current playthrough, I'm actively avoiding using it, cause it's just too damn good at everything except extreme long range. YMMV

But i found out today a GREAT USE for the Short-double shotgun :D
It may have the SHORTEST shotgun range (4-5m?) BUT you can take its weakness **loudness** into a advantage :)
Take the shotgun with ammo , dont forget granades or a useful gun.
Go to a spot where you have a good amount of cover ( example Hole shelter in factory or treehouse in village )
There you shoot a lot of times the shotgun and the LOUD SOUND will attract All enamys nearby :D
Then you kill all enamys of with Granades and your good weapon
= nearly free map to explore and loot and profit :3 (just be careful to not SLEEP , most of the enamys will teleport back to their original Spot )
I did this today on factory and the whole building and surroundings was (exept 2-3 enamys) completly empty x,D
Also it gives granades a niche use :D
I know its a cheesy way to play , but it was funny and you can make use of bad / niche items :3

I have a little bit of a predicament, so I have a mosin with a ton of ammo with a PU scope and suppressor but I have a crap ton of tiger rifle mags should I buy the tiger rifle and use it or should I use the mosin ?
The tiger rifle is a great weapon and definitely a worthy upgrade especially in more difficult areas.

Personally I use the PP91 and IZh-81 and a gsh throughout mid game… some would ask, why the pp91? Because PDW go brrrrr when I go ahhhh
Great idea for a vid! A nice little hors d'oeuvre to tide us over. Just out of curiosity, where would you place the hunting shotgun? Logic would say just ahead of the IZh-27, but in my opinion, it's much more fun (for no reason whatsoever).

A question, what do you spend money on to the point you can't get Scar? 12k is not that much by that point really, ammunition also isn't as expensive, I wasn't grinding for it, I simply had a crap ton of money to burn so I did and oh my GOD it was worth it, this gun is just majestic and so much better than the rest it's ridiculous, almost the same thing for hunting shotgun, it may be not as usefull but DAMN it is FUN, Deagle is in very weird place for me because it is the only handgun I use once I get my hands on it but I do agree with you on some points on it, but still it's most powerfull mag fed handgun with built in rails and upgrades for accuracy and durability, it kills even armored mimics with two shots and doesn't need armor piercing ammution and I use it nearly exclusively when I'm purging locations so I don't mind that it's loud
The issue is the Scar doesn't mesh with my playstyle, by the time it's available I'm already in the last stretch of the game, and even at that point it's still overkill. I find more satisfaction in using lesser weapons that I scavenge. I guess I just don't like buying stuff
@@Synthetizard that's understandable, but you shouldn't then list money as the main issue, no matter how you look at it it's the best gun in the game and it is easy to get at the point when you unlock it

I seem to never agree with your rankings😅. I have no problem saving to buy my guns. I do enjoy finding weapons, but you are really harsh on weapons you cant find. I'd like to see a tierlist based on pure performance.
I haven’t tried the M9 yet, but I love the Glock 17. I tried it out in the range when I had just started out and really liked it so I’ve stuck with it since.
M9 generalls does higher damage, is more accurate, and far more reliable than Glock so it's basically a one step upgrade. The only thing the glock has is 2 more rounds in capacity. Both can be serviceable even to the end of the game of course.
The DVL is instant S tier IMO, never liked the MP5 and AUG though, since the grip distance when holding them is so close. never use the groza, FAL, or M4. M9 is king.
II only do scav/stalker no buy runs now, so the pump and mosin are the most fun
I agree about the grip distance on the mp5, although it doesn't bother me on the Aug for some reason. While the dvl is good is just too expensive for how I like to play

I'd be curious where the revolver sits on this tier list... like, sure it's pricy, but I like to keep it as my sidearm for dealing with trouble, and it frees up all my mag pouches so I can run 4 mags for my main gun in easy reach.
that said, I'm also considering a 7.62x25 only run, where I grab a shawty ppsh and attempt to +P my way through the game.
I brought almost a thousand rounds for my ak 74 and it was almost unusable after about 300, the revolver carried me through almost all of the castle and was maybe about half broke after at least 200 rounds, it always one and two shot enemies. Definitely S tier

It's my go to early game besides the gah because it's easily available and I don't like the tt or makarov
I literally hate the glock in this game, For some reason I cannot hit anything with its sights and when it does hit it just doesnt seem to do enough, its my least favorite pistol

I stand by it, it's great fun in pervomay and bolotky. Once you get to pobeda though there's really no reason to not switch to the izh81. Especially if you know where the stash is

i sold all my guns for the FN 17 and it' perfect if you farm alot it's a mustbuy
I want to like the mosin rifle. It's free and I find many of them. But my rifle needs a scope and the scope mount is too far forward. I can't get my eyes up to the scope to see clearly. As such this is clearly a fail for me just due to ergonomics.
Now on the other hand, your D ranking of the Grozin is just the opposite for me. This is my #1 weapon. It does the 2nd most damage for an assault rifle and has the grenade launcher which I find essential for the assault on the castle. Most importantly though it fits me egonomically perfectly. I usually just buy it outright as soon as possible without waiting to find a free one.
So basically we like the opposite weapons but both of our reasoning is because of ergonomics. How a gun feels is most important.

I had a normal ak-47 but my oculus died but I think it caused my saved file to get broken and it replaced my AK47 with the ak47m

I just found the Glock 17 on the second mission on top of the fuel container. My quest was Ab to die so I haven’t gotten back to clean it yet. So your telling me the mak is better than the glock 17? I hate only having 8 rounds in the mag. 17 sounds wayyyyyyyyyy better.
Maybe putting it below the makarov was too low, but still I stand by it being in c tier. My reasoning is that you can get an m9 just as easily, and it's an objectively better gun. Mind you I'm an experienced player. If I were to make a tier list from the perspective of a new player the glock would have a much different position. As can be said about a lot of my placements

the groza is the ugliest gun in the game. i can't even stand to look at it aesthetically without a suppressor and i don't even care much about stealth. and the way the optics sit on that suitcase handle thing... but it's a good gun to use

the DVL 10 is the most powerfull sniper rifle in game with a shot dmg of 180. 1 shot 1 kill, no matter where u aim. except for fragments because of the core and u put it on B 😂😂

my favourite run was with spas 12, because u dont have to waste time to hide and load a mag, low cost in ammo, it's semi automatic and inside buildings is a rhino, with slug ammo and acog sight was basically a sniper.
at the left side of the backpack a mosin nagant with just the ammo that can fit in the main frame plus the 5 in the stock (just to have more accuracy in hard situations).
and now after the 2.7.1 update the MP412 Rex for the same reason (no mag to refil) and the power of a sniper rifle in the palm of your hands. (with the rex i basically kept the box of ammo in my left hand and every shot was a easy reload. i felt like cheating with it 😄

While it is statistically a great gun, it's expensive and has low muzzle velocity. Plus I don't normally run suppressors anyway

Wouldn't that be the bare minimum prep before making the video? You're basically showing that all you're giving us is off the cuff opinion with no real thought or deliberation. I really, really hate to be negative, particularly since this is about a game we all love so much, but here we are.
The video was intended to be a quick, fun project to put out in between larger videos. I made that clear in the first minute of the video. I'm not sure what youre talking about with not deciding how to rank them. I clearly outlined that I was ranking them based on my minimalist playstyle instead of based purely on stats
I think you ranked the m4 to harshly its super reliable and it can have the most amount of attachments
It's definitely a good rifle but the Aug wins out over it imo. Plus modularity isn't really a big deal for me as I run my guns completely stock most of the time
