外出から帰った夜は、家に着くと最初にアイガーを探します。この日はテーブルの下のベッドで休んでいました。とにかく無事でいてくれてよかった。歩くこと自体が一仕事になったアイガーは、食事もゆっくりとるようになりました。かつては遊ぶこと、食べること、人と接すること、いろんなことに活発だったアイガー。今ではどれも懐かしく感じます。食事を終えて疲れてしまったアイガー、ゆっくりおやすみ。

On nights when we return home from outings, the first thing we do is look for Eiger. On this particular day, he was resting on the bed under the table. Anyway, we were glad he was okay. Walking itself has become a task for him, and he now eats slowly. He used to be active in many things: playing, eating, and interacting with people. Now he misses all of them. After eating, Eiger is now tired and is ready for a good night's sleep.
