- Опубліковано 7 вер 2021
- TYLER peels herself from the relative safety of her bass-playing role in Black Country, New Road to lay her emotions bare for a wildly enthusiastic audience as part of Ladies' Night, a fantastic all women line-up live at The Windmill.
Filmed by Lou Smith.
man every single member of bcnr is INSANELY talented
BCNR’s still in good hands. Optimistic for the future.
I'm pumped for what's next
What are you the manager?

@Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart hey thanks, where do you got the titles from?
4 is called "up song" btw
Tyler, if you're reading this, please release your music. No rush of course though, do whatever you like :)
gotta say this set was surprising impressive and captivating.
Watching this makes me super excited to hear where BCNR goes from here. She has a great singing voice and her lyrics are great, too. The tone of her music seems like it would mesh with BCNR perfectly.
Well surprise, it's the exact same songs!
As in surprise, not surprised!
She's an absolute genius. I want a solo album!
I’m sure it’ll come
Beautiful, reminds me a lot of Angel Olsen's early albums
this is the first time i’ve heard Strange Cacti like vocals in so long. just perfect
such an intimate performance, she's so talented. it's strange, but the piano playing for up song at the end kind of made me laugh, it was just so beautiful but also very funny and endearing. I'd love to see her set live someday
I’m hoping to catch her again one fine day.
Hopefully she releases something solo, I’d love to hear more
you might just be in luck 😃
@@pizzatime8773 what do you mean?
@@leonruizleonruiz Up Song, Laughing Song, Dancers and I Won't Always Love You have been rearranged by Black Country New Road. The band has been performing these songs on tour. They're also probably going to be part of the next album.
Someone’s been paying close attention!
tyler we lov yor music ~
OLOKO ACHEI UM BR.
Easy for you to say.
Holy *** does anyone not have any conceptual clue how phenomenal she is ?
It seems at least one person, though I suspect there’s more there that came from.
this is amazing, sounds like nothing else
How refreshing to hear someone making no tired comparisons.
Thank god Tyler exists. BCNR will follow relevant with her on lead vocals.
Hadn't listened to her version of Dancers yet, really lovely. Thanks for the video, Lou.
My pleasure.
long live bcnr
2nd song was GREAT
I am incredibly in love with her I just realized
And now the cat's out of the bag.
12:01 LOOK AT WE DID TOGETHER BCNR FRIENDS FOREVER
BC,NR friends forever < 3
reminds me of sibylle baier this is so good
mix of sybille baier and Hayley henderickx
I was thinking the same thing
Freaking amazing stuff here can't wait for the new BC, NR stuff in 3 days!
Tyler's voice is so angelical and beautiful
Really awesome performance, can't wait to hear more from Tyler, thanks again Lou!
Yeah, she was great. I believe May has also got some material to her sleeve which I’d love to hear.
based pop
@@liamsjamsyt1047 cheers man
Beautiful set
she's amazing!!
Excellent Tyler! I love your voice!!!
holy shit this is amazing
wonderful
absolutely love those clusters on up song

Epic Stuff
She is so beatiful
The third song had me on the edge of my seat. Wow
I love coming back to this every time bcnr releases a new version of one of these. Amazing performance.
I was happy to have witnessed this early solo performance.
I cant wait to hear Tyler's take on good will hunting and Concorde. That is if she trys to cover those in the new bcnr era
they said they wont be playing any of the previous songs out of respect to isaac
They couldn't really. Tyler has plenty of material they can form into new songs.
@@boriis333 I mean more down the line. I'm confident they're do their own versions in like 2 or 3 years from now. Purely at live shows I bet
@@wolfmots6278 imagine the crowd pop if they bust out Sunglasses in 2024
awesome
I was hoping so much that you would post this, thank you!
Aww. You’re welcome.
LOOK AT WHAT WE DID TOGETHER
BC, NR FRIENDS FOREVER
Goosebumps. Thank you so much for sharing this.
If it causes goosebumps, I'm happy to oblige.
I love this, hope she does some shows outside London sometime haha
She may be busy with BC,NR now and creatively more fulfilled too if they are going to incorporate her songwriting into the main fabric. Maybe at some point though. I'm actually kicking myself for missing her again just recently.
legendary
just wanted to thank you for recording this... having acess to this changed how I perceived music.
Then that’s a great thing we did here!
Many thanks for this Lou! Had the pleasure and luck to see Tyler at the Windmill in early December and loved it! I did not know her show, so I am so happy to have this video here and be able to see it again and again and again :)
Hey Bruno. Yes, it was quite a revelation to me too. I nearly made a last minute dash to catch her again, but i think i loafed instead.
Great
Tyler is so freaking talented, Jesus. Thank you for uploading this, it's amazing.
i am tyler hydes number one fan
It’s a bold claim!
Rock and roll forever
This version of up song has me shaking Holy fuck
Good reaction!
really moving
i really hope that she hasn't forgotten about burn. It's such a beautiful song and it probably has my favorite lyrics out of any in this set, but it's the only one of all these that hasn't been turned into a bcnr song so I'm hoping she's either planning to still use it as a solo song or they're j hiding it and it will be the "new" song on the next bcnr album, like the way track x was on the first album.
Wait what was the thing with track X?
@@thezerfer9860 Pretty sure they didn't play it until the album came out whereas the other songs were played live a bunch before
@@brettmccollum1 cool to know, appreciate it
man this girl kinda reminds me of that band black country new road
Funny that.

dis set is ppphhhatttttttt
That’s pretty ppphhhatttttt!

after hearing them all, I can't help but think jockstrap is gonna be the one that will hit it biggest.
Rad
I hope she gets vocals
I'm sure she'll get some if she wishes. Georgia too can really own a song.
according to charlie (the drummer) she's gonna have lead vocals and they're reworking a lot of her solo stuff (probably some of the stuff in this video) to become black country new road songs
@@zack-ne1li lets gooooooooo
@@zack-ne1li where'd you hear this? Not doubting you, just wondering if there's an interview or post somewhere!!
@@zack-ne1li yeaaaahhhhh
Tyler should join ficklefartrecords tbh
It's weird, i have a crush on her, and on her dad
That is a bit weird. Why not though eh?
@@LouSmith I get crushes very easily. In fact I might be getting a crush on you
@@handsome_man69 Lol. I'm the same actually. Especially about performers.
Her dad?
Marry me please ⭐️
I’m sure the please will help.
@@LouSmith … i’ll take your sarcasm and spin it ….hey thanks for the acknowledgment….. give me anything in media today that even recognizes her?…. imagine in today’s society anyone ever using the word please anymore
It wasn’t sarcasm as much as acknowledgement that there is probably a long queue, but that manners never go unnoticed. She’s quite under the radar generally.
16:13 sobbing🥲
😢😢😢
Relative safety of playing bass? I don`t mean to disrespect the person who wrote that description but that statement seriously undermines her playing on BCNR.
I think the word relative gets that poster a bit off the hook here. Formidable bass player though Tyler undoubtedly is, it’s got to feel more pressurised stepping up to vocals whilst playing bass or guitar too. I’m sure the rewards are greater, especially as she is writing a lot of the songs as well.
@@LouSmith Fair enough, sorry for the misunderstanding.
