That baby card!! ❤ You are the definition of patience in card making Ardyth! Have a great weekend. From chilly, snowy, not very spring-like Alberta. 🌨️
LOL! I am the exact opposite of patience in pretty much every other area of my life! Thanks so much for watching - and we got about 15 cms of snow last night here in Toronto - probably the most we've had all winter! Cold and super-sunny today. Crazy weather! Thanks so much for watching!
Beautiful cards! I'm in total agreement with the last commenter who is as amazed as I am that you could create cards so gorgeous while chatting to a friend!
I love your ideas :))) Thank you for all your inspiring videos.❤ Have you ever tried using your dies to cut funny foam and then using the funny foam as stamps? I also stamp on funny foam and then use my scissors to cut out the shape and use the full foam shape for quick colouring. Sorry, I can`t explain it any better. This may make sense to you and give you some new ideas if you haven`t done all these things already.
@@ardyth You actually understand what I tried to share? You`re a genius. LOL... It`s just that I haven`t seen anybody do it. That doesn`t mean nobody has done it yet. Thank you for taking the time to reply. Sending love and greetings from Slovenia❤
Nope. Never would have thought to use alphabet dies in these ways! Love the bubbles and love that you keep all those little circles and other pieces for use on other creations.
How cute to take something so simple & ordinary and use it in a completely different way! So creative and a great way to get more use out of one's stash! Looking forward to your next visit to Craft Roulette!
As others are saying,WOW, that baby card is amazing! I love the bubbles they could be used for so many different cards. Great tips Ardyth…thank you for sharing. I always look forward to your videos. 💛TR
OMGosh… these cards are AMAZING! I can’t pick just one favorite because I love them all. Thank you for sharing your creativity with us. I learn so much from every video. 😊
Ardyth you've done it again. These ideas are so helpful and creative. Especially love the baby card. Thank you for sharing your talents so generously with us.
Wow Ardyth, you never fail to inspire me. The cards are really great examples of how to work with what we have. Case in point that last card with it's woven look is reminding me of a baby blanket i am currently working on. I now want to change up the colours and see if i can make this resemble the baby blanket. Thanks so much for the inspiration. ❤ 🇨🇦 😊
Although I doubt I’ll ever take the time to duplicate these cards/techniques because they’re too time consuming for me, I just LOVE your creativity! Thank you for sharing!
Great idea using letter dies! And then I went down the rabbit hole (nod to Easter coming up) and thought of all sorts of random shapes in all my die sets! Brilliant! I have done that a few times where I needed a particular shape for something and went shopping in my stash. These are all lovely cards. I guess the baby one is my favorite since I'm going to have a new grandbaby soon!! TFS!! You rock!
Way to Go Ardyth. Really enjoyed your inspiration. The last card was such. great idea for a male card. I felt like your whole video was a great idea for people who are trying to use those supplies they already have for new ideas when maybe your your budget is not as big for new dies etc... just shop your stash. Thanxs a Bunch
Oh..wow.. I am so sure you were a Geometry teacher in your past life!! THE OOO card and the bubbles 🫧 are just out of the world !! Love the woven strips.. amazing!! Great tips ❤ thank you for your super cool ideas!
I have a little tip for making ink pad color strips. I use an address label. For my use I wanted 2 for each side of the oxides ink pads and one thin strip for storage of the foam blenders in a stackable clear case. So I used a bigger label. The size for who you’re sending it to not your address. I inked the whole label, sealed it with distress glaze because I knew I’d have wet hands at some point and they’re water reactive. Another bonus tip. Then I cut them into the 3 strips I needed. They already have the stick on the back. Hope that helps someone else! It works great! You could use the smaller labels and just cut them in half! Don’t forget to glaze your water reactive inks!
That's a great tip. The address labels I have are so thin that the ink saturates them and isn't a true representation of colour, clearly I just need to look for better labels! lol!
@@ardyth it really works well and they’re cheap. You don’t have to get the Avery printer ones, just get the cheap ones in the plastic with cardboard back at Walmart. I found out tonight when I did an ink checklist that there’s tons of inks I’m not using. Didn’t even recognize the name! So I think I’m going to reorganize them and put them in color groups light to dark instead of party or spa. I’ll still be able to find them if doing a color combo you have, which I’d love to get, because I just have to look in pinks or yellow or whatever. I haven’t used but 1 or 2 spa colors at all! And I used Bellini tonight and they’re getting dry and I haven’t even used them only a few. So I think for me the color groups will be better than her families. Big job because I’ve been wanting to make a swatch ring since they dry down so differently. But I’m only missing the metallics for now. Yay! I just realized I need reinkers for my versafineclair inks. Those are the most crisp dependable ink pads! And emboss beautifully! I just have a small rainbow collection for sentiments and messages.
Once again, you wow me with the way your creativity works. This is genius! That baby card is so sweet and the New Years card background has given me the perfect nudge for an inspiration card I bought years ago and could never quite figure out how to convert into a handmade card. Now, to check to see if I have any alphabet sets with round O’s and how small my smallest circle dies are.
I just found your videos. Love, love, love. I have been watching several and our cardmaking skills are similiar. Im learning so much from you. Thank you for sharing with us. Very inspiring❤🎉
