I'm sorry there was a little mix-up here. My team was supposed to create a Hybe playlist to review but they accidentally stuck a group that had nothing to do with Hybe.
My comments reflected the trend within the company to go young. It turns out some of these groups had nothing to with that.

I love super and fml (I don’t agree that it’s underwhelming at all) as SVT is one of my fav groups, and I’m really excited to see what’s next for BOYNEXTDOOR as I think it’s a good debut with a fresh sound, all three songs are bops imo, and I like Zico’s production.

Hybe is a multilabel corporation. All labels under hybe work independently. Hybe only supplies resources and financial backing.
Hybe said each labels has the complete autonomy in creating their groups.
That chat room was just… I’m not surprised. It’s usually always like this with channels whose content be like 80-100% of BTS and they’re clearly hardcore ARMYs… that’s why I never have high expectations when it comes to reactions like this. Also, the chat sections are always so biased. I promise you, if FML was a BTS song it’d be a different story… They’d go on and on, boasting about how great the song was, how much BTS cares about the world and how the lyrics are so deep/relatable… They definitely wouldn’t be calling a heartfelt song like this boring. Like they really just said f*ck the lyrics, ignoring the whole meaning behind the song. It’s not meant to be a hard hitting, upbeat rap song. The song and mv isn’t underwhelming, it’s flowing the way it should and it’s a vibe... melodic and nostalgic. There’s nothing wrong with liking one group, ppl have their preferences. It only becomes an issue when ppl start downplaying and discrediting other artists with their biased opinions. If you don’t like it, that’s cool, but it’s unnecessary to bring your favs up and compare them by saying that they’re better.. It’s clear that the only content they’re interested in or want is BTS lol He liked “Super” and was jamming to it, but they were still trying to bring BTS into it and find something negative to say😂
As someone who listen to some songs of svt the reason why they said the song is underwhelming its coz of the sounds of some of the members isnt flowing together in some parts i mean like in the first verse vernon does well but when woozi does in some later part its kinda distorting and becomes dark while vernon sang it lightly, so dont bash reactors just coz they dont like what u like and just move on before u right a lengthy paragraph

You clearly didn’t read or understand the message… Just another example of how y’all(in general) love to hear/see what you want to hear without actually reading and understanding the message. For one, I wasn’t “bashing” him, I was speaking from what I’ve experienced and noticed with other channels like his(him included). I use to watch his vids back when he was getting into BTS. So this isn’t the case of some K-pop fan seeing him for the first time react to SVT and “bash” him bc he didn’t like the music. This isn’t just about SVT either.. Like I said before, who cares if he doesn’t like a song or group, everyone has their own preferences. Second, it wasn’t directed towards him only but to other channels and biased fans like the ones in his chat(who are the main protagonist). Lastly, like many others before me, I respectfully gave my honest point of view. It’s ridiculous how a lot of you can be so contradicting, esp when it comes to giving opinions in general.
It's definitely a Zico style. He is a highly respected artist in Korea, considered one of the best producers and solo artists and has been on the stage more then 10 years. Nothing even close to BTS here. I think your opinion is very hype and upstage

Yeah for me that love indie band song i kinda love BOYNEXTDOOR. Well now i don't really into KPOP because yeah i'm boring with it. Well i love nostagic sound so as we can see KPOP song with nostalgic feeling get less produce but BOYNEXTDOOR just perfect well for me they don't look too cute but its just normal for me also what i can't understand why people don't catch BOYNEXTDOOR voice vocal their voice look different then other group the emotion in the voice was well produce i love the flows i really love it

first, boynextdoor write their own lyric and even produce their song, because they have 3 idol producer on their group: Taesan, Myung Jaehyun, and Woonhak who start their produce and write their own lyrics even when they are on high school, so when they have their happy or fun music, tgat is not about they want to be next BTS it's just their music style and thatbis their rights to release music like that, not all of Hybe group need to be "okay this group will be next bts" when they are even influence by Zico (Their own CEO and main producer)

@@Fallinflaweremember when he used to be more subjective about his opinions, even with BTS and now since he’s been mostly just watching BTS content it’s like he became biased. Agreeing to almost everything his subscribers be saying regarding other groups. The only reason why I clicked on this vid was because of SVT and I was genuinely curious to see what his initial reaction would be because FML has a really nostalgic vibe and it reminds me of old school hip-hop(I’m 32 yo btw) so it brought back some memories. I don’t have anything against BTS, I’ve been a fan since debut… I just feel like if you’re gonna or wanna be a K-pop fan(multistan) you gotta throw that favoritism out the window. At this point, he still just sounds like a BTS fan.

People would think of Dragon Ball, the Japanese comic, bc that's the character name, ごくう Go Ku (Japanese pronunciation), in the manga (inspired by the novel premise), which I guess is more known on some modern level, since for many around the world of non-Chinese cultures or influences and unaware of the novel, the Japanese manga & anime is probably more known to those people (ah... the nostalgia... hahaha... I remember waiting every month for the manga volume release, yes, in my days, I waiting for the full volume my cousin gets, not the weekly releases in shonen comic compilations).

To me they don't look like BTS. BTS's debuted with something different, with BAP style and BigBang references. I think is too funny think that everyone want to be like BTS. Zico worked hard to debut some people that looks like him. The song is definitely Zico's style and not Hybe's at all.

I know the person in the video is a huge BTS fan and I respect that, but honestly I was bothered by the tone he used to talk about BND, when they are literally kids who just debuted. Well, for me, you don't like cute, so don't listen to it. BND's music was much different than others; also, ZICO and BND were different. They feel nostalgic, like a little bit of indie music. I wrote this under another reaction, but want to share here, too, because it seems most completely missed the REAL message of the song.
Woozi (a highly empathic INFJ) said he wrote this in the middle of the night, and it was very hard. He himself was going through a hard time (something similar to what's known as "the dark night of the soul). He said he had to dig deep and face all the "demons" and negativity that not only he was experiencing (think of their song "Shadow" which is all about doing shadow work and integrating/embracing your own "dark" side) but what people worldwide are facing right now, and it became very emotional for him and HARD to write the song. The purpose is to express what I would say the majority of the world's population are thinking/feeling right now, especially in those countries where people are under surveillance (Seungkwan, a whistleblower, in the corporate world, trying to escape like Truman did; DK finding a camera in his lamp and drones outside his window, so he smashes his TV which may also be spying on him; etc.), where everything wrong seems to be happening (Woozi doesn't even HAVE a driver's license and doesn't drive on purpose, so he probably would feel dumb trying to start a car and turning on the wipers instead...but Truman's car wouldn't start either), Mingyu having a stage camera fall on his car (just like the camera fell nearly hitting Truman in The Truman Show...Wonwoo trying to leave but getting blocked only to end up with it raining on only his right side (meaning the world is fake)...there are SO MANY references to The Truman Show in this video it's unreal!), Joshua saying goodbye to a friend only to find a button pin just like Truman did sharing Truth. They're all trying to escape the "set" or "stage" of life, but keep getting blocked. Truman desperately wanted to go overseas, purchased tickets, but was too afraid of the water to go. Woozi has a ticket, but keeps getting blocked...again, just like Truman did. The only way Truman could escape was to put a dummy in his bed (like Hoshi) so the producers of the show would think he was sleeping while he ran away. Did you notice that the drawing in the mirror that Hoshi is looking at is a monkey...referring to Sonongong...the mythical Monkey King of their latest blockbuster hit? And another thing I found significant is that as Dino is looking up at the night sky, the Big Dipper constellation changes into the Southern Cross. (The Cross.) The title of the book Woozi is reading is "Microwave and RF Design of Wireless Systems"...a tip of the hat to a "conspiracy theory" that we're being zapped with negative energies via technology (including our cell phones). It's significant that S.Coups finally walks over and turns off the lights on the set, indicating this life is nothing but a stage. Once the lights are out, that's when you see the ocean, with storm clouds forming in the background....just like the director of The Truman Show created to drown Truman once he finally beat his fear and got on a boat. TOO MANY references to the movie; and it's EXACTLY how people are feeling everywhere. Even Minghao (aka The8) said he's felt this way many times, and his only salvation--which is everyone's--was to find himself, which he does through meditation. So overall I think the video is beautiful...Seventeen letting their fan base CARATs know THEY UNDERSTAND what they're feeling...especially those in China and other tightly controlled countries...and that the way to overcome is to return to and find yourself. Don't quit, don't let the numbness (apathy) set in, don't hide your feelings by just laughing it off, don't fear your past self embarrassing you now because your past self isn't who you are now. And don't we all have a "secret" from the past that we're too ashamed to tell anyone? We can't let it define us NOW. FIND YOURSELF. FIGHT For Your Life (the billboards behind Jun read "Nothing Will Make You Happy", "Waves of Fear Coming To You" l, "Never Make Mistakes" and "Avoid Challenges/Stay Safe"...the messages/propaganda of the world and what we must fight to find ourselves and WIN.
Personally, I cry every time I watch it...not only because it hits home for ME, but watching others' react and seeing their pain breaks MY heart. We must NEVER think we're alone; and one day on the other side of THIS Truman Show we're all in, we'll come together, REMEMBER each other, reunite and be whole again. I look forward to that day every second I breathe.

FML doesn't hit as gard and jts probably why it was the second kf the two title tracks. Super is definitely THE main track and at least on the carat side from my end, FML isnt the main focus. BUT the song gives me a sense of nostalgia and a sense that sometimes we all feel down and rhat shit sucks or like we're the dumbest person alive but that there is a togetherness in that both us and seventeen experience those same emotions and struggles. But that its okay and that sometimes its just life.
I definitely get emotional when I listen to it. It's a song that brings me a certain comfort. Very much like Yoongi's song "People". And at least the melody to me plays a role in that

BND are under HYBE so your team is correct (they are under KOZ aka Zico’s label which is under HYBE) but they are nothing like BTS. Where does any BTS song sound like BND debut?! I think Zico would be insulted if you called his group a BTS wannabe.
BND were allowed to pick their concept based on 3 options they were given and they chose “easy listening”. You could make the argument that they are in the same realm as new jeans but that’s as far as I’d go.
