Can I just say Shaun deserves all the love and healing energy and appreciation in the world? These lyrics just hit me, man. Can we show him some love ❤️
I still remember taking a long drive with my dad , RIP and I played Finding beauty in negative spaces album on the drive . Not thinking he would like it cause it wasn’t his type of music but he liked it to my surprise and would ask questions about the band after each song.
Hey Dominic, you’re disrespecting me. You have a baby boy and I don’t have any babies. I was born in 1994 which is probably before you. Explain yourself now.
Very mello. I can definitely vibe to this one. Seether never fails to dissapoint. I love it, especially near the end when Shaun starts singing more aggressively.
Im literally crying but this are tears of joy!! All the songs have a deep and meaningful feeling, I’ve hit depression and addiction and many people turned their backs on me and when all that happened I would turn to all this songs and they have helped me in my problems. Thank you seether!!
Everytime I revisit this song it sums up the feeling I have about my dad that died from cancer when I was 26. We didn't leave on the best terms and I regret so much and miss him so much.
Goosebumps. It feels like a sequel to me ... of “Drift Away”. The song picks me up where “Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum” took me, made me feel, made me survive and now there is this “sequel”. I can't decide which song I like best. But I know what I feel when I hear this one ... god bless you, Seether. Thank you for the chance to dive inside.
This is some killer new stuff 👌 🔥 👏 absolute banger of an album. This is definitely my new favorite album ❤this song hits pretty heavy and pulls at my heart strings. So somber and sweet yet melodic and heavy. It makes me wanna shake my ass and bang my head 😎🤟
Jesus why is this song so long. Been listening to it for like an hour. Seriously tho. This is a true banger. My favorite on the album. Definitely goes in my top 10 Seether songs now. No idea what got kicked off the list 😅
So I've listened to this album front to back 7 times now the more I listen to it the more I like it. Definitely not the best album they ever made but definitely a solid album that I am enjoying so great job seether
I love this album so much. It left me saying wow. It feels like the sound track to dealing with my trauma on mushroom trips and all the healing, like the songs go in order and everything. Judas Mind is like the hype song to face a trip. Wow. Just wow. Thank you always for the vulnerability and authenticity and honesty. Also love the freshness on this album. The screams, amaaazzzinngg. See you live tomorrow!!!!!!
This song reminds me of my dad he was a hard ass and I rebelled I saw him slowly getting sick well dementia set in and I hated his ways what I wouldn't do for one more day with him
I have loved Seether since their debut album Disclaimer. I have also seen them live 4 times and they are are horrible live act. May as well put up a poster of the band on the wall and play through their CDs- it's the same thing. ONE exception to that rule is that I did get to see them perform on tour opening for Evanescence and Amy Lee performing Broken LIVE with Shaun was an amazing experience.
Finally made the time to see them live and brought my youngest son ( 19 ) and he enjoyed the whole thing as his first rock concert but I remember the 80s&90s . I was very disappointed but the entire lineup was equally subpar so maybe this is how concerts are now ?
@@mikeclay2381 I've been to dozens of concerts in the past decade or so for many of the "newer" bands and several festivals. Most of the bands at least move around on stage and put on some sort of performance. At a Seether show, Shaun Morgan is gonna plant his 2 feet right behind the mic stand and stay right there and that is all you're gonna get. I can't say that I would be any better because dancing and jumping around is not something I would be comfortable with either.
This is one of those songs where you just lie back, close your eyes and just feel. Just Listen and feel the song. Amazing work from an amazing band.
This is so true first time I heard this song literally the first few seconds I just laid my head back and vibed to the song!!
id rather not... way too much regret in my life.
pain is too much somtimes
This is so good but you must hear “Whispering Wolf” or “City” by SLT 🤘🐺🌃
I second this
I've had it on repeat 🔁..
Man… this song has me in a dark room eyes closed with my whole life flashing thru my mind.. Fuck.. when it hits the sick of it chorus.. cold chill down my spine.. damn
Let me steep in my regret. Love that line.
Lyrics:
I still remember your name
The sound of your voice
The smell of your clothes
I know that things aren't the same
But given a choice
I wish that you'd froze
Well, it's always the blame
It seems to rejoice
Whenever I'm low
I know that these are the ways
To keep out the noise
When my mind slows
So don't
Don't make me come home yet
Let me steep in my regret
I've seen the ways that
Love can pass for hatе
I still remember thе pain
It follows me close
Wherever I go
I stored the feelings away
And try to compose
Whatever I show
Well, it's always the same
And everyone knows
What's written on my stone
I know that these are the days
It starting to show
I've never quite flown
So don't
Don't make me come home yet
Let me steep in my regret
I've seen the ways that
Love can pass for hate
Ooh.. Ooh..
I'm sick of the pain!
I'm sick of the pain!
I'm sick of the pain!
I'm sick of the pain!
I'm sick of the shame!
I'm sick of the shame!
I'm sick of the shame!
I'm sick of the shame!
I'm sick of the-
So don't
Don't make me come home yet
Let me steep in my regret
I've seen the ways that
Love can pass for hate
So don't
Please don't let me forget
How I played with ill intent
I've been the reason
Love has passed for hate

I agree, the way they kept a similar sound. Over the years they evolved it, but never strayed away.
