A traditional healer conducts a spiritual cleansing for a woman at public market in Cuenca Ecuador.
She does herbal cleansing, invigorating process. One whole egg was rubbed all over body to absorb sickness/evil energy and to diagnose you at the end. Aromatherapy with local wild flowers. Spitting is part of cleansing to get rid of all the bad energies. At the end she breaks the egg to diagnose you and give you a remedy. She looks at the color and or texture of the egg and tell you what is going on with you.
The spiritual cleanings or energetic cleanups known in Ecuador as "Limpias" are ancestral traditions of the Andean Culture.
They help people to get rid of stress and to cleanse the body of negative energy.

This happens because each healer has their own methods for cleaning. The healer says that she is nervous, with Bad air and Bad Energies.... The Bad air is when you have bad genius or is stressed with ease. Through cleaning I take all the evils off.

Is the spiritual sense bad spirit/energy? I know in different countries there are different ways. Like here in thew US South Texas we use Ojo the same but we also use Curado de Susto. It not about curing one of a scare or fear but stress, anxiety or depression.

ok, I apologise, I am very ignorant when it comes to Ecuador, I know nothing about the place but as a pagan I have received healing and spiritual enlightening, but I am a bit confused as to why she was being spat upon i understand this is some part of the healing, but what is it to do?
