Thanks for the explanation. But on the second workflow for "send email", trigger is set for any new opportunity creation , should we not set an additional condition to check "status" = "Closed Won" ? Because currently it is setup to send email when you create a new opportunity in any status.

there is problem with the second workflow. It can't be set on "create" - create means creating an opportunity here. It should be set to "update", meaning that the opportunity status gets updated to "closed won'. The only other problem is that there is no separate "update" - it is "view or update", which means each time the opportunity is viewed, and email will be sent also?
Can you show how to create a workflow to send emails to the customer when the order is fulfilled and when invoice is up if those two emails are different?
