Joe Locke was so amazing as Billy (Wiccan), he was brilliant in everything, he even imitated Wanda's mannerisms, he surprised me a lot because he is new in the acting business.
I’d argue that after three seasons in the lead role of Heartstopper Joe Locke isn’t really new to acting anymore. But this is quite a different role and he did well; I don’t think he’ll have a hard time finding more work.
@@Morpheus451 Technically, he's still consider as 'new' since Heartstopper is just 1 series. Apart from that, he only had Agatha and The Great Stand Up to Cancer Bake Off . So yeah, he's still consider as a 'newcomer'. Let's hope for the best for him, I'm really rooting for this guy.
I love this series in how it gives you a first half that was already decently entertaining, then spends the entire second half re-contextualizing everything you already saw.
So glad you guys liked the episode. I love Joe Locke’s acting (the actor who plays Billy/William/Teen) so much in this episode and in the series overall. He’s a new actor whose only other onscreen role has been as the main character, Charlie Spring, from Heartstopper. I don’t know if you guys have ever heard of that show before but it is a really great LGBTQ show (a book/comic adaptation) that handles many delicate subject matters both about and not about the queer community (like homophobia, transphobia, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, sexual assault, etc.) in a brilliant and positive way that not only doesn’t leave you feeling depressed but gives you the feeling of a warm hug or a nice cup of hot cocoa after a freezing day. If you guys liked the message behind Love, Simon then you will love Heartstopper. There truly is no other show quite like it. Highly recommend!
The show kinda reveal that fact when they showed the Tarot cards. With Lilia's signature on the lower right corner of the card. Which was the same thing she drew as sigil in this episode. I don't think anyone catched that. 😂
This series keeps getting better and better, the addition of Wiccan to the series was incredible, he had a very good development, I hope he appears more in the MCU in the future.
What makes Teen’s acting even more impressive (to me at least) is that this show is only his second professional acting job. His first was Heartstopper, which would be a great show for y’all to react to if you take suggestions
The moment of him learning about the witches road when that part of the song plays is amazing to me, and then him thinking that the road could give him his brother back while the song sings "I'll see you at the end" is equally amazing. That sequence gives me chills every time.
The witch did in fact put the sigil on him after reading his palm. If you go back to the first episode, you can see his case of blu-rays in the back of the closet on the ground. I bought that shirt Agatha is wearing in her house haha. "Bohner Family Reunion: Pitch A Tent" Bout to get into some real good episodes!
Okay so I think some of you guys didn't get the whole thing. William died in that car accident, so Billy was able to take over his body. So this guy is Billy. And then 17:06 - Agatha is NOT pretending. She is still under Wanda's spell, she literally thought she was a cop lol.
I saw a lot of comments point out how good Joe Locke is in this, and I just want to add that if you go back and watch Wandavision (ive watched a million times), Joe uses a lot of Julian Hilliard's mannerisms from when he played Billy. It's so subtle and so good!! Makes you really appreciate Joe's talent and attention to detail as an actor!!
There’s so much more going on in episode 2 once you know Billy can read minds when people get emotional. “I’m not so nice” Billy says, but his main motivation seems to be a good one; to find the brother whose name he was calling when he woke up. His fangirling over Agatha in Ep 2 has to be insincere since E6 told us he only just found out about her a few days before he met her. And the only mind reading he verbally acts on in E2 is information he could have found in the public domain. The editors kept two instances of actors breaking in (you’ve already seen both) because they actually fit the situation the characters are in. The first was when both Agatha and Teen snickered downwards while Lilia was making noises over her crystal ball. Kathryn and Joe broke (and Joe was confused they used that take) but in-story Agatha and Teen know this is a bullshit show she puts on for non magical customers. Teen/Billy is trying not to crack up by “poke the bear” because he can see some of the dissonance between what Agatha is living in her head given to us by E1, and the reality of what’s going on in the room in E6. He’s sitting with an over the top crazy lady slurring her words, but in her head she’s so ice cold in control. I was really affected by E6; William’s death hit me so unexpectedly hard. I was close to tears when I realised William had died. That told me how fast the script and Joe Locke made William his own sweet, adorable person in just a few minutes. And clearly distinguishable from Teen/Billy. Joe did William’s singing of the scripture in Hebrew. I’m hoping hard you guys realise how powerful reacting against your ‘type’ is in a clickbait way, and watch Heartstopper, which is only 24 x 25 minute episodes in total, and can be done in 6 reactions of 4 episodes each, or 12 of 2 episodes. By season 3 the story is hitting hard and deserves all the awards, after sneaking building issues past you in S1 and 2 in a haze of happy endorphins and gorgeous cinematography.
The Esoteric term for what happened to Billy Kaplan and Billy Maximoff is "Walk-In". It's where one Soul agrees to continue living the Life another Soul chooses to leave. It's a mutual agreement between Souls.
Interesting thing with the Houdini posters: Besides being, famously, a magician, Houdini was Jewish, like William Kaplan, so he makes a lot of sense as a role model.
The poor fool at SWORD or SABER who has to enter Wiccan's paperwork some day: "...and your age?" "Uh, that's actually kind of complicated..." "It's not my first day here, kid. Try me." "Ok, so I dusted at 13, but I was born after the Blip and I'm physically 17, mentally 14, technically 4, but also dead in two different ways, and a figment of my mother's imagination." (adorable smile.)
I love that they kept the part where Joe almost breaks because Billy would act the same, seeing Agatha’s delusional behaviour 😂 They improvised the bear and pen scene, and the closet line too so it sounds like a fun day of filming!
So we got some backstory of teen/pet & we FINALLY get big reveal of his name & was cool seeing some of the witches of their previous lives/jobs, great scene between Agatha/Billy in quicksand forest place, the dialogue there really sucks you into the story, "I'm not nice" what a line to end on! Liked Quinn adjusting his mic at 5:50 & swooping motion at 20:01 DD previous comment about show having 'True Blood' vibes is even more apparent now with the telepathy, still pushing for the guys to watch that show soon! 🙏💙❤️
Since you are currently reacting to Agatha All Along and have recently seen The Wild Robot, I wanted to introduce the show Heartstopper to you guys. The two main leads in Heartstopper are Joe Locke (Billy/Teen from Agatha All Along) and Kit Connor (the actor who voices Brightbill in The Wild Robot). Heartstopper on Netflix is a lovely show about love (romantic, platonic, and familial) that mostly follows a high school romance and their friends, most of whom are LGBTQ. The show is based on a graphic novel series that was created, written, and drawn by Alice Oseman, who is also the sole writer for the entire show. The target demographic was originally teenagers and young adults, but so many people across a wide age range and many backgrounds enjoy this show as well. I would consider it essential viewing for everyone -- there are moments to appreciate and lessons to be had for everyone. Every topic discussed is realistic but with a hopefulness that things will be better. Since y’all seemed to like Love, Simon, I really think ya’ll will enjoy Heartstopper. Heartstopper has 3 seasons out, 8 episodes per season, and each episode is about half an hour long. Heartstopper was Joe Locke’s first ever audition outside of his local theatre! Joe then went on to be in the MCU and in Sweeney Todd on Broadway. A very impressive career for someone who has just started in the business a few years ago! Heartstopper is a first major role for most of the actors actually, except Kit.
I cannot WAIT for your reaction to episode 7! As a 20 year old in the Fiji Islands, I enjoy your reaction videos. Hope you'll get to react to Wild Child (2008) someday. ❤❤❤❤ God bless guys!
"Answers some nagging questions" [laughs in spoiler alert] Anyway can't wait to see your expressions later on. But? The next episode is one the highest rated so we'll have to see some special attention given to that one and Patti LuPone's performance in particular. If you hadn't noticed yet this show is a mirror of WandaVision. The 6th episode of that for example is when Evan Peters was introduced and when the bubble expanded as was shown again in this episode from another perspective. The other episode of this all follow suite like that.
Whoa! Now that’s four things in which you never know what you’re going to get! Life, a box of chocolates, emergency surgery (according to the new show the Pitt), and now Evan Peters!
Pitch a tent!! It's a Bohner family reuinion lol...I adore Evan Peters in everyting he does. so talented. I dont know if it got edited out, but did u catch that Agatha had that shirt on when she was still in her detective fantasy. And also, Rio shold have been in that scene w her cause she would have been talking to her, but the camera never shows her in the room making us wonder did only Agatha see her. Or were they intenionally hiding her from Billy's view since we were seein his perspective. Can't wait for the next ep. It's soooo good. Glad yall seem to be enjoying this show & again i will push for yall waching the New Rockstars breakdownswhen ur done. Will give u a ton of insights into the show!❤💞❤
Rockstars? You mean the people who decided Mephisto had to be behind WV? I stopped watching them. They’re good reactors and do pick up on details (some of which are intended) but they will spoil you by speculating about future reveals. I would avoid them until you’re done. They also can latch onto a way of seeing things rather than letting the story unfold. There are twists. Enjoy them.
@ParticleZon yeah that's why I said to watch when they are done. I agree they are not always on point for speculative stuff, but I think they did good job on breaking down alot of lil things the fellas may miss. It's just my opinion.
Guys, will there be a reaction to season 2 of "The Rings of Power" on your channel in the future? Or have you already watched the series? Season 2 is simply amazing!

Not imitated, he trained with Wanda's choreographer but indeed he was so good with this...

SO EXCITED FOR YOU TO SEE EPISODE 7!! Ep 6 was rlly good too
Other reactor channels called episode 7 "the best episode of Marvel television ever"!
@@jbashore3468yeah tbh Agatha wasnt the best show but ep 7 definitely is the best Marvel episode. Masterpiece writing.
@@jbashore3468 Yes, this episode was excellent.
Episode 7 is the best of the entire season. Can't wait for next week.

17:28 The interrogation scene is so good because we see in this scene Billy's perception that is TRUE
It's the "I don't wanna to go back in the closet" line for me 😂😂😂
😂
Me too! 😂😂😂😂
Just remember to watch the last two together. Don't wait a week between episodes 8 and 9
3:40 The biggest revelation of the series for me was finding out that it was LILIA who placed the sigil on Billy
The show kinda reveal that fact when they showed the Tarot cards. With Lilia's signature on the lower right corner of the card. Which was the same thing she drew as sigil in this episode. I don't think anyone catched that. 😂
@Blue_Lunacy Yes lol
When you realise William's parents don't know he's gone, Billy just pretended to get better so they think their son had amnesia or something for a bit
This series keeps getting better and better, the addition of Wiccan to the series was incredible, he had a very good development, I hope he appears more in the MCU in the future.

I find it hard for them to react to a romance series, but maybe a movie...
Heartstopper is defo aimed more at tweens and teens
Pretty good acting, playing 2 different parts AND holding his own (and not losing it) against three crazy performances from big name actors.
The moment of him learning about the witches road when that part of the song plays is amazing to me, and then him thinking that the road could give him his brother back while the song sings "I'll see you at the end" is equally amazing. That sequence gives me chills every time.

Yeeeeeaaah, Why is it so difficult for them to understand? LOL
That whole thing was so funny 🤣 and william saying I don't wanna go back in the closet 😂😂
I'm assuming you didn't watch their discussion? They got all this very clearly.
@ Yeah, I saw they got it in the end. But they were not getting it while they were watching.
They understood
The ending for episode 5 was great. We get to see Billy use his powers, the crown, & Billy Eilish song was awesome.
