The Bible says that a curse without a cause cannot alight or take effect on someone (Proverbs 26:1-3). So how did that curse affect that innocent man and his family? This is an honest question. If someone knows the answer, please let me know. The land rightfully belong to the man, so he did nothing wrong when he refused to give the land to the witch doctor.
Curses and Blessings pronounced on people runs through the blood from generation to generation. And God respect covenant. You must first discover that this curse exists and cry to God through Jesus to destroy it otherwise the curse will run till the third and fourth generation. Remember Abraham when God told him that Know of a surely that his generation will be slaves in another land for 400 yrs. You know why? Because he came out of Idolatry family and God curse on Idolatry to be visited on children for 3rd to 4th generation has to run its course. The generation of Abraham did not remember until 430 yrs later when they cried unto God. Hear what God told Moses, he said I have heard the cry of my people. So if they had not cried to God, it would have continued. So friend, to give your life to Christ is the first step and raising an altar of prayer to destroy the curse is second step. You know why? Whenever a curse is pronounced, a monitoring spirit is assigned to carry the curse through generations (to 3rd and 4th). My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge ( Hosea 4:16, Isaiah 5:13).
