- As the community gets together, we visit Polperro and watch when the Christmas Tree lights are turned on. We had a fabulous evening, celebrating all the joys of Christmas. The tree looked amazing and the shop windows were glowing with Christmas Magic!
We also went for a little wonder around the village and harbour enjoying the atmosphere and came away feeling full of Cornish Christmas Spirit!

We are Sarah and Andrew and we film our walks around Cornwall and publish on UA-cam, usually weekly. Sometimes we stay in accommodation in Cornwall and upload our vlog. Sarah is fascinated by sea glass and likes to collect it so there may be the occasional sea glass video too. The channel is a hobby and we both have normal day jobs!

How do I find the books you use?
Most are still in print although some we pick up in charity shops and may be available on Amazon secondhand. Please refer to the video for the book titles. Every video shows the book three times. Sorry but we can’t put a link in every description.
Best time of year to visit Cornwall?
We love May, June for flora and fauna, July and September for spectacular scenery.

Wonderful Christmas trail , a friendly happy Yuletide celebration. Being a ex pat (85) living abroad it brought a lump to my throat, so many memories of my young days when Christmas arrived just a week or so before the 25th. Thank you both for sharing another enlightening Cornish walking trail.

What a happy and festive place Polperro is, with a real community spirit, it is really quaint, the house covered in shells is amazing 🤩 and the shop window displays are fantastic, loved the sleeping 💤 Polar Bear, the group of singers round the spectacular Christmas tree 🎄 rounded everything off nicely, thank you Sarah & Andrew for a splendid treat to start off the holiday spirit! Enjoyed Polperro, also enjoyed the singing around the Christmas tree. Nice to see the shops looking festive. After the hustle and bustle of the Summer Season it is nice to see Polperro at a different time of the year.Merry Christmas to you both and looking forward to more of your video’s in 2023.

Brilliant filming and editing of the sights and sounds of a Cornish Christmas in Polperro you two! From the contrast of the quietness of a walk in the dark down to the harbour and beach and cave to the merriment and beautiful tree in the centre of the village, it was filled with Christmas spirit. My favourite has got to be Mousehole, but Polperro is a quintessentially Cornish village too. The tree was lovely. Thanks for all the vids as always this year Sarah and Andrew. Thanks for a lovely walk around Polperro; we've stayed in Polperro a few times but during the summer and enjoyed the Shantymen at the Mill wheel ( we think The Mill wheel has closed down, unfortunately) they were wonderful evenings joining in the singing with the Shantymen after their Choir practice! You buy a song book for a pound! proceeds go to local charity! Polperro is lovely place and especially to walk around in the summer evening, but looks beautiful at Christmas time to. Thank You Sarah and Andrew for the walk, Have a Merry Christmas and an Happy New Year. P.S., My wife loved your idea of the Pastry cutter, mixer, Knuck duster Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! it works really well Thanks Again. and the new puppy is loverly.

🎄I've not been to Polperro, so what an extra-special Festive treat! They certainly know how to do Christmas lights...all those beautiful quintessentially Cornish cottages in winding lanes and the harbour...all perfectly lit. Cornishmen singing 'Cornwall my Home' with such feeling gets to me every time (tears rolling down cheeks)...just beautiful :) A very Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to you and yours, and a huge thanks for another year of CWT goodies ~ bringing us the very best of Cornwall, thank you x 🎄

I live 3 miles from Polperro but haven't been for ages, mainly due to exorbitant parking charges. So nice to be reminded of the Christmas lights there.
Parking was free on the night which probably explains why so many people turned up, worth a little trip! Sarah :)
Polperro is one of the prettiest villages in Cornwall, we love the narrow streets and the great houses. But at Christmas all this is topped again with the beautiful lighting in just wonderful how the residents decorate their windows and houses. Thank you for your beautiful videos. My wife Tracey and I love Polperro and have visited many times, the last time being in September of this year. But this certainly shows the town in another aspect. Fantastic! The Three Pilchards, where we had a superb lunch; The House on Props; The square beside The Lord Nelson where the singing and celebrations took place. (Not to mention Willy Wilcox's cave which is very claustrophobic right inside, I found). Merry Christmas to you both, and to Brown Dog and Puppy!🎄😊
