This video is about how I keep a clean house. I share my cleaning routines for a clean and tidy home. I break my lists up into cleaning routines that keep my house clean in-between deep cleaning and routines that I follow to keep my house tidy, there is a big difference between the two. Today's cleaning routines include the Power Hour. I have a list of tasks that I do once a week in under an hour that will keep my house clean. Thank you! As a kindergarten teacher and mom to a senior in high school, I have been busy with beginning of the school year chaos and being a football mom. Life has been tiring and busy. I have let my routines slip, but to stay current in my cleaning motivation, I watch my cleaning videos. Today, you said a few things that resonated with me. "Routines help when you already have a tidy home." and "On Sundays, you do a reset for the week." So even though I only have time for an evening routine (which is very little that I can accomplish), the words "Sunday reset" just clicked. I watched your Sunday reset video after your fall party a few weeks ago and didn't get the application to my life and today I got it! So thank you again! I spent my evening tidying my home and I am ready for the week. A new routine that I can do. This is why I love you, Michelle! You make a difference! ❤❤

Recently I started putting a capful into a spray bottle full of water and use it to freshen my curtains etc. 🩷🩷🩷

Hi have you ever done a slow Hoover, you Hoover your home as normal, empty your cylinder then Hoover again but slowly you will be very surprised at how much dust and hairs that are in your carpets and rugs, it’s also worth doing it on your dog bed before you wash it. The tool you had for the jalapeños is what we all a veg peeler especially for potatoes carrot skins for root vegetables x
Yes, I do a slow vacuum every so often. Your right, I get a lot more out.
You know, I bought that tool thinking it was a potato/veggie peeler but it doesn’t peel at all. It more shreds of the carrots and potatoes.

I have started doing this in my home, it's not perfect but there has a lot of progress.
The last time we were going to have company over it felt really good to not have to clean for days before they visited. It was also nice to be well rested the day they arrived as opposed to being tried because I had cleaned so much days prior.😌❤️

I’m getting ready for my oldest daughter‘s birthday on Tuesday. She will be 57. Could you believe I went into labor on Halloween but she waited till the next day to be born on November 1. I’ve been having to do a few things today because the power company has notified us our power will be off tomorrow for most of the day. So I tried to do whatever cooking etc. that I needed to do today. Also went to Sunday and church this morning. That reminds me to tell you that all my clothes are too big. I guess that’s a happy problem but I’m gonna at least have to buy a couple of pair of jeans. I don’t mind my tops being too big but I don’t like to have baggy jeans. Love in Christ friend

Happy birthday to your daughter. I started labor on Christmas Eve and didn’t have him until early morning of Dec 28th. It was a rough delivery for a young 17 year old.
And no power is for the birds! Hopefully what needs to be fixed will be quickly.

I also thank you for personally being my friend even though we’ve never met!😊. Chicken crockpot recipes are always welcome. I really don’t like to cook, except occasionally, and my husband needs to be on a very low fat diet because of the gallbladder surgery. I have wondered if you are also trying to cook a little differently because of your husband. I would love to have even a little bit of your self discipline!!! Both my mother and her mother had plenty, but that gene seems to have missed me! 😁. I am constantly striving to have it. Don’t get me wrong. My house is very organized and clean enough, but I want to have the self-discipline that I saw in them. I see that in you. I appreciate you every week and I wish you and your children the very best!!! 😁. We are going to the desert on Tuesday because Dan’s oldest daughter is expecting his first grandson any minute! In dusting, do you shake out your duster after each room, or does the duster itself hold it in?
Depending on the amount of clumped on dust. It there is a lot I will shake it to the floor, especially if it’s from the fans. I don’t want to smear that dust on anything.
