Thank you ❤️ We hadn't really planned on doing this much (it was only meant to be the basement and our room and then a lick of paint everywhere else) and it kind of snowballed as we went along but it was definitely worth the disruptions for the last few months as we now have everything how we wanted it and every space is usable and functional, so we are really chuffed 👍

21:12 amazing!!!! And a rower is the BEST!!!! full body, low impact machine!!! Bikes are great too, but rowing is full body. Y’all have everything you need! I’d personally just want to add a DVD player for my workout videos (very retro, I know), a yoga mat, exercise bands and id be happy as a lark! Great job guys!!!! Oh and your closet *IS* so exciting!!!!
I do have a little area on the wall with a yoga mat and exercise bands (next to the gas meter cupboard). But a DVD player 🙈😱🙈 🤣 Very retro but if it works for you that's all that matters ❤️ I do like a row on the row machine, but need to get back in to the habit of using it. 🙈🤣
@@EmmaHill Ha, I know... so retro. It's just lovely! I watch movies while I row. I set the timer for 20 minutes, sometimes go over it, but 20 is my aim. I said a gym when you asked us to guess and it looks great! As the wall is black the TV kind of blends in and doesn’t look overpowering. The whole area is a million times better and more functional, love a good utility room. The plants and carpets soften it all too. Bravo guys 😍👏🏻

I’m actually shocked at how much space and light and airy and clean the basement looks. It’s so fresh and well thought out. The home gym is a clever idea. Furniture suggestions mini fridge in retro colours, simons prints, industrial lockers for your gym. Well done to ye both for all your hard work.

Yes, lots of it went in to the attic (which I why we had the boarding added). But we also sorted through lots of it and some went to charity and some to the recycling/rubbish centre and other pieces have been stored more efficiently in the storage cupboards we now have down there 👍

They are low light plants and have been placed in the areas which get a decent amount of light and they seem to be loving it so far, but will have to keep an eye on them as during the shorter days of winter they may need moving but we shall see 👍
We have a drain in our basement that backs up if it gets clogged (tree roots usually) so we can't/don't use it much but if it was realistic I would 1000% be redoing my basement after this! Looks amazing!!!

Yes you guessed correct 🤣 But I did go through them all before moving them and a lot of the bits went to charity or the recycling centre and anything that was kept was condensed and moved into the loft so its out of the way but with the loft ladder is still fairly easy to access 👍

We have a drain in our basement that backs up if it gets clogged (tree roots usually) so we can't/don't use it much but if it was realistic I would 1000% be redoing my basement after this! Looks amazing!!!

Yes you guessed correct 🤣 But I did go through them all before moving them and a lot of the bits went to charity or the recycling centre and anything that was kept was condensed and moved into the loft so its out of the way but with the loft ladder is still fairly easy to access 👍
