キャッツアイ2期はアダルト色が強くなったと言われていますがスタッフの方々(特に脚本・プロデューサー)が当時「西部警察」「太陽にほえろ!」「あぶない刑事」などに参加していた方々だったこともありハードアクションをするためにも作画がアダルト色にする必要があったのかもしれません。でも再放送時代の自分からしてこのシリーズは脚本・演出・挿入歌・作画共に面白く主題歌も好きで個人的に1期よりも好きです
