After Diggs was traded to The Texans and the success he is having reminds me of El Manning and the Giants. When Tiki Barber and Jeremy Hockey were let go is when Eli started winning
I was just thinking about something. McDermott does not want Allen to play, obviously so he doesn't get hurt. But I also believe he does not want Allen to win the MVP either. Think about it, we've heard it all throughout the past few off-seasons.... McDermott is holding Allen back. If Allen wins the MVP, that will just put more pressure on McDermott to win the damn Superbowl. Hopefully McDermott is smart enough to realize that Josh Allen doesn't just want this, he needs this award. Idc what anyone else says, I keep hearing fans say "you can keep your MVP award, we want Superbowl MVP" Obviously Allen wants one more than the other, but I am 100% positive that the MVP award is something he wants. (I've also heard he gets $1 million if he wins it, which is certainly a lot of money that I'm sure he'll be glad to take, but the money isn't why he wants it) He's working on a HOF caliber career and in the end, those awards will mean something. He's been close the past few years. I believe if he is able to get it, it will take a huge amount of stress off his back. And he will loosen up even more than he's already had over the past few years. I believe whenever he wins MVP, (hopefully now) I think we'll see his game elevate even more. I think we saw just how much this was on his mind during the New England game, he knew he just had to play one more great game and it was his and I think it messed with his head.
@@kaitlynblount7683 That's completely untrue. He gave multiple statements endorsing Josh Allen for MVP after the win against the Jets. Not a lot of coaches are going to put their reputation on the line making statements like that to the media. Especially with how heated the argument has been. McD put himself right in the middle of it all to say JA has proven himself as the MVP. Made multiple statements pertaining to that without the media even instigating the statements
Our defense is good, I think people are concerned with the inconsistency from them. We never know if they'll shut a team out or if they'll allow 40+ and look JV level.
Cole Bishop has become a 80/20 player to me. 80% of the time the plays he makes you're like, "wow. this dude can really ball." 20% of the time you're like, "he's got some growing to do." In the end, I'm super excited for his future as he develops further because he's flashing like he could be special.
Seems like he will be more of an in the box safety. But he has a lot of growth to do so we will see. Definitely think we could use him and Ingram in run support in the playoffs. Ingram and Bishop can cover tight ends and RBs out of the backfield while still being above average in run support. Bernard and Milano need to get better in run support before we make our Super Bowl run!
He has far more potential than Rapp and Hamlin. Really he's already up to that caliber and will only get better. I think he should get the start in the playoffs, especially after seeing the blown plays by Rapp and Hamlin last week. What separates Cole is his physical ability, but also his hunger and drive. You can see in this dude's eyes, he wants to go out there and make plays. Whether he's starting safety or on special teams he gives everything,.Damar Hamlin just looks like he's going through the motions
Our Defense finally mixed their coverages today, I loved it. When u can confuse Roger's who's someone that seen it all, then we are heading in the right direction. Trust me, we have plenty of more disguised coverages that we haven't put on tape yet. Also, we finally put two deep ball throws on tape too, that's gonna open up Cook and Shakur and Kincaid so much more. Offense and Defense headed in the right direction for sure.
Lamar could have put his division away a couple weeks ago, and instead of throwing a TD he threw a pick in the end zone. you can cherry pick your moments and make any case you want that way. It's about the entire season. I honestly don't even think Lamar is the MVP of his team, let alone the league. He gets to throw like that because teams are putting 8 men in the box because of Henry. Imagine Allen throwing against 4 DBs?
I hate to say it, but if Lamar wins the MVP again….. it’s because of his race and people are voting for him because they feel like they would rather the black guy win it over the white guy. Sorry, but no one wants to admit that. We all know if the award was based on stats, Lamar should never even come close last year. Dudes had a great season and is a top 3 Quarterback in the NFL. But if you watch football, you know Derek Henry is the real reason Lamar is having his best year yet. Defenders have to chose stopping Henry or stopping Lamar. And you ain’t going to be run on all game. And all the stats back that up.
Hope you guts had a great holiday. Yall got a show planned for this coming weekend? Special request for a future show : NFL realignment. That would be fun idea as fans to shake up the NFL and realign the divisions and look at some hypothetical new rivalries. They need to just change the award next year and just make it the highest stat award. Because Josh is the only player this season who’s earned the most VALUABLE player! By definition he has won it. If people want to spin it then make up a different award for best quarterback statistics.
I’d want to play the Dolphins obviously, but I ain’t scared of the Bengals. Just need a big James Cook game to keep their offense off the field sitting in the cold.
Allen winning MVP only puts more pressure on McDermott to win the Superbowl. We've already been hearing in the off-season how he's wasting Allen's talent. I personally believe Allen wants the MVP bad, infact I think he played like a$$ against the Patriots because it was on his mind. If he is finally able to win MVP, I think we'll see Allen's game elevate even more!! (I know, almost seems impossible) It will just be a huge amount of stress off his back, and only leaving him one last thing to do. He obviously wants a Superbowl/Superbowl MVP more, but us fans have got to be crazy if we don't believe he wants this. He has a chance to be one of the greatest of all times, hell he has a chance to be the greatest of all time. Awards like MVP will most certainly boost his resume. I hope he plays, because we all know if he sits and Lamar has a good game, they'll use that one reason to take it from Allen. Not to mention, it sounds as though we've taken our foot off the gas pedal and aren't showing everything we have to offer. Which I'm perfectly ok with, but damn can we at least ramp it back up a litle bit...give Cooper some in game touches before we go ahead and lock everything down til its do or die and hope everything is oiled up and running just as smoothly as before if not better. That seems like a pretty risky way to go about it, unless you're confident wildcard week will be a cake walk for you to implement a game plan you've yet to show.
nobody mentions how many team captains left from last year(6 out of 8) and the fact that only Josh and Bernard were captains this year. None of the other MVP candidates were asked to lead their team's in this way. Lot's of vets and proven leaders on the Ravens and Eagles.
This isn't about who has too many mvps, this is about who is mvp this year and it's Allen and it's not as close as some people claim. First, its not just about who has the most yards or tds, if that was the case, Allen would have won it last year. Lamar won last year because he had good stats and was on the AFC 1st seed. This year Allen has very similar stats to Lamar but 3 less losses and got his team to the 2nd seed when many claimed they wouldn't even make the playoffs and that it was a rebuilding year. The ravens were superbowl favorites from the jump. In terms of stats, Lamar is helped by playing with a hall of fame RB named King Henry, because defenses focus on him and it opens the game up for lamar, that's why his stats jumped up so much from last year. You can't claim to be MVP when there is another MVP on the same damn team. Allen has nothing close to Henry, and he puts up the same stats every year for the past 5 years, 4k yards and over 4tds, an NFL record. Also, Allens stats would be even higher if he wasn't pulled early in so many games because the bills are blowing people out. How many more yards and td would he have had had he played the 4th quarter and run up the score on the jets? The bills have blown out teams all season, 12 games of 30 plus points. And the Bills offense is ALL Allen, the ravens are Allen AND Henry, and they still haven't been as good as the Bills offense. And in terms of accomplishments, Allen is the only QB to beat the chiefs this year, and he pretty much beat them single handedly in that game, capping it off with a historic 4th and 2 20 plus yard td run through 5 defenders. He also ended the lions 11 game winning streak and knocked them out of everybody's first place list. He set records with a pass, run and receiving td in a game and a 3d rush and 3td pass game. He has only lost road games to 3 division leaders on the road. Jackson managed to lose to the freaking browns and raiders. Not close. Allen has similar stats to Lamar playing with way less in terms of help and teammates, and he's had more accomplishments. How is it close? Because lamar has a few hundred more yards and a couple more TDs? It's not close, Allen should win MVP but the NFL is in love with jackson for some reason, look no further than last year when Jackson flat out should not have won MVP with 3500 passing yards and 24 tds, there were 5 or 6 players that had a better year, so it wouldn't surprise me if the NFL gifts lamar another mvp.

23:27 "Will history look back and say Lamar Jackson was 3 MVP's better than Josh Allen." Hell yes. And that's where your argument dies. It's like comparing Andrew Luck (Allen) to Peyton Manning (Lamar). If both these players quit today, Lamar is being inducted into the HOF. Allen won't even get honorable mention. And that is what you Bills fans refuse to see. Lamar is referred to and spoken of in the same breath as HOF greats. Nobody doubts Lamar, Mahomes, A-Rod and Russel Wilson are going to the HOF. Maybe Stafford 2nd 3rd ballot. Maybe Goff? Too soon for Burrow talk. But Allen? He is in the Curt Cousin, Dak sphere. He has done nothing that is HOF worthy. Y'all can keep inventing these, "He threw for and NFL record of ten TD in the weeks of October 10th through October 25th" for your fan base but it means absolutely nothing to the HOF committee. The only thing you can point to that Allen has done better than Lamar is that he has won a few more playoff games than Lamar. That's it. Lamar broke HOF QB Micheal Vick rushing record BEFORE Josh. That means Lamar has set the standard so that Josh has to now chase him!!!! Saquon might break HOF running back Eric Dickerson HOF record. And you Bills fans and gaslighting media have the nerve to say Allen deserves it because he has outperformed these two? Really? Allen has never in his life, on any level outperformed Lamar (except in the playoffs, however both produced the same results) . Not last year. Not this year. Not ever. Your problem is we are looking at history being made and if history looks back it will be appalled you even mentioned the two in the same conversation. I don't know if the HOF will allow y'all to make a mockery of its legacy.
If the Broncos win, they will take the 7 seed. If the broncos lose and the Dolphins win, the Dolphins will take the 7 seed. If the a broncos and Dolphins lose and the Bengals win, the Bengals will be the 7 seed. If they all lose it’s the broncos.
@@koolkitties8552 I don’t care to play the Bengals. I’m going to hold my nose and root for the Dolphins so the Bengals aren’t a possibility. Then I’ll take the Broncos or Dolphins. We already know it’s Ravens in the divisional and the Chiefs in the Championship game.
If the NFL and it's mvp voters screw Allen again this year they are creating a double standard from the precedent they set last year when they danced in circles to dminish Allen and hype Lamar over Allen and all others. The dumbest commentary is Josh was excluded in 2023 cuz the 18 interceptions. That is just stupid on multiple fronts and I'll elaborate. I've/We've heard the argument that other MVP's have had 18 or more and won the MVP. That is true. The better argument is that not all turnovers are created equal. The analytics behind the 2023 interceptions show Josh was far more unlucky in 2023 than wild or inaccurate with those picks. First of all, having more production can lead to more turnovers. Josh produced significantly more than Lamar. He should be allowed more mishaps too. If fact, Allen probably had only 6-8 truly bad throws in 2023. Josh's touchdown to turnover margin was better than Mahomes, Jackson, Hurts and Tua. Better. +22 for Allen and only +16 for Lamar. Allen was better there. Not worse as most might assume given the talking heads endless assault on Allen. Furthermore, according to Pro Football Focus analytics, Allen had a better turnover worthy play percentage in 2023 than Mahomes, Jackson, Hurts and Tua who ALL wrongly received accolades OVER Allen in 2023. Josh was snubbed. And Josh was also smeared in the media called names like "interception machine" outrageously. Ive never seen a media blitz like last year to shht on any player like Josh was and then simultaneously hype up another like they did Lamar. Wow. It was OUTRAGEOUS and frankly sick of hearing about Lamar and his worthless stats this year. Cuz.... NFL in 2023: Stats don't matter, leading in tds and yards, etc, it DOESN'T REALLY MATTER--unless it's double digit interceptions and Josh Allen. Then it's a no. Hand the MVP to middling-stat Lamar, the 15th rated passer, etc, simply cuz he had 2 more wins, 1 better seed and late statement performances on prime time tv that were flashy. Okay. Screw Josh Allen, who has had mvp worthy stats since 2020. NFL in 2024: Stats matter again! IF it's Lamar's overhyped stats. Forget that Lamar has double digit fumbles (we media will NEVER mention it) and that Lamar lost to Raiders at home and Cleveland, bottom 5 teams and forget that this year Allen and Bills were supposed to "take a step back" and "miss the playoffs" according to these same "analysts". Forget Josh has the 2 more wins (right now that they've sealed the 2 seed which is all that mattered) and forget Josh has the 1 better playoff seeding and those flashy late statement performances on prime time tv this year are ALLEN'S. It doesn't matter that Josh beat the #1 seeds in both conference's late in the season on national TV, this year 🙄 The NFL talking heads are trying to move the goalposts again and again to award Lamar Jackson a ridiculous 3rd mvp. Since 2018 in the past 7 seasons Allen has more reg season wins, more playoff wins, more passing tds, more pass yards, more rushing tds, roughly same rush per attempt and more fantasy points and it wasn't particularly close, folks. But given the aforementioned facts above, the gaslighting NFL media complex want us all to believe, according to their apparent preferences, that Lamar freaking Jackson is somehow 3 freaking MVP's BETTER than Josh Allen! It is like they see the greatest player in the NFL, a player of color dominated league, and they're like, ugh! It's woke 2024, MVP can't be a whyte player! We gotta pretend he isn't the best, downplay him any way possible, while simultaneously overhyping Lamar Jackson, which pleases the new woke NFL and Blackrock/Disney/ESPN media complex and the agenda we see all around us from politics to sports, if you've paid any attention at all and don't live alone deep in some forgotten cave like Gollum from Lord of the f*cking Rings. What a tragedy. My favorite all time player is Thurman Thomas. I believe in equality for all. I have zero issue with awards going to any player regardless of color etc. I have a huge issue with the NFL or it's voters or it's media being biased against a great player and human being just because he is whyte in a league of mostly players of color. Because what other reason could they have? It isn't the stats or facts of these cases. People are not perfect. Racial bias exists in the NFL too. But is it voters or is it the wealthy elites who control or manipulate the voters either directly or through the very paid media talking heads which have been very critical of Allen while being effusive with their praise for Lamar Jackson, particularly the past 2 seasons. What is the truth? Let's hope the NFL sees us Bills Mafia watching closely cuz i personally am sickened by the entire MVP process which looks like a complete bunch of BS the way it went last year and the way it is going this year late in the process now. There is ZERO reason Lamar shoud be close suddenly to Josh and we've seen the odds moving drastically but why? Cuz Lamar beat up on Giants and overrated Texans? Not good enough to unseat Josh. It's all too subjective and if Josh Allen doesn't win i am gonna be pissed and resentful at the NFL and consider the entire thing rigged. The NFL better consider the integrity of the league. No player is more valuable to their team than Allen. IMO. Josh is the overwhelming MVP in 2024 by the same criteria they screwed Allen with in 2023. So, just let them move the goalposts again. I will have my share of hate mail for Roger Goodell and the dirty bought-and-paid-for sports media on it's way just as soon as they dare to screw our quarterback again. Josh is the best player in the NFL, more impressive than Lamar and his media hype train by far, Josh doing more with so much less, now that's impressive! and he is without a doubt the most VALUABLE player in the NFL as well. Give him the DAMN award! With that out of the way, we need to go out and win a Super Bowl. Go Josh and GO Bills!
"The NFL talking heads are trying to move the goalposts again...Since 2018 in the past 7 seasons ..... Haahjahahahahahhaahhahahaha. You wrote this long ass magnum opus and didn't read a word of it.

23:27 "Will history look back and say Lamar Jackson was 3 MVP's better than Josh Allen."
Hell yes.
Not put lamars waepons who have a receiving td and compare it to allen and thats why josh gets it. Mvp is most valuable player not best stats player
There only good in the regular season and fall apart in the playoffs
they don't fall apart in the playoffs-Josh has won 5 playoff games and lost 5 games.
31:30 cause Ryan and Bart want to push the race narrative
If the Broncos win, they will take the 7 seed. If the broncos lose and the Dolphins win, the Dolphins will take the 7 seed. If the a broncos and Dolphins lose and the Bengals win, the Bengals will be the 7 seed. If they all lose it’s the broncos.
Hopefully the Broncos win!!
Bills will beat the Dolphins if they make it but They don't want to play the Bengals imo
Nah it’s no co mvp. Allen was better last year and didn’t get co mvp. Allen is doing better with less. He’s mvp.
Allen wasn't better last year. He was 5th in MVP voting. If you are going to whine whine for Dak and stop being a sheep.
Bot I literally had to delete my Twitter tonight because of all the “ravens fans” bullshit. It’s noting but mental abuse.
Jets 31 st in offensive rushing
Not a good sign with the king coming in 3 weeks
Love the dance victory intros😂❤❤❤❤. Go Bills!! 🦬🏈💙❤️🙏🙌💪
It doesn't matter that Josh beat the #1 seeds in both conference's late in the season on national TV, this year 🙄
The NFL talking heads are trying to move the goalposts again and again to award Lamar Jackson a ridiculous 3rd mvp.
Would love to see Dan Mitchell brought on as a guest, keep up the great work gentlemen
They didn’t destroy that was a cake walk they play the easiest conference that makes them look good come on do better
Conference? Umm they beat the Lions 💀 and the NFC Champions💀
Bills don’t want to play Miami or the Bengals in the playoffs
Why
I'd love to play any 7th seed. Doesn't matter if it's Denver, Cindy or Miami.
@jokoturoh exactly they were a 7 seed for a reason alot of flaws
They both don't have no defense JA17 tough to beat undefeated at home that's tough
Agree we have JA17
Josh can't throw. Hence 9 for 30. Baltimore Ravens All Day Everyday.
Lamar dont play good in playoffs facts JA17 all day
@@aaronbutler9373 dude stfu.....just spewing off a bunch of nonsense just to defend Lamar. They are both great players....period.
Lots of bullshit .dropped passes .folks .
