Kingfishers are excellent hunters! They can spot their prey from long distances and dive at them with extreme speed and precision.
Kingfishers feed mostly on vertebrates and fish, but can sometimes eat other birds and small rodents.
Once the Kingfisher has its prey, it bashes it multiple times on a branch to kill it, making it easier to digest.
