    Just too cool. It looks textured!

      Thank you! The texture is indeed nice but I wish the pens would have a little more ink - I’ll redo the drawing.

      @@thedotisblack You would need a pen the size of coke can to hold enough ink. Don't think that'll work.

    Hey there, amazing work as usual.
    How can I generate the vector for the drawings?
    And also how do you generate the vector for the generative portrait arts?

      Thank you. The waves I made with my own algorithm and the generative portraits with a free online tool. I don’t exactly remember the website but I replied with the link to a comment in the review video of the iDraw A1. Please have a look there.

    Thank you for the great reviews! I'm thinking of buying iDraw A1, but I worry about accuracy. In your video the horizontal glitches reveal during the drawing, do you have an idea why do they appear? Is axidraw a1 more accurate?

    • @thedotisblack
      @thedotisblack  19 днів тому

      The glitches come from the paper. Its plotter paper and I think also the pens had some issues because I ran it at full speed. Otherwise I don’t have any problems with the iDraw a1.

    How long did that take

    • @thedotisblack
      @thedotisblack  2 місяці тому +1

      I think I mentioned it in the video, about 3.5 hours. I did as fast as possible, hence the nice granular strokes that emerge on the paper.

      @@thedotisblack sorry I didn’t have my sound on

    I'm having some noise problems. What can we do to reduce the sound?

    • @thedotisblack
      @thedotisblack  4 місяці тому

      Like what kind of noise? The typical stepper motor and pen sound?

    • @AzButceliHikayeler
      @AzButceliHikayeler 4 місяці тому

      @@thedotisblack Yes. I'm looking for a way to reduce the sound since I have to operate it in the same room as the one I live in.

    • @thedotisblack
      @thedotisblack  4 місяці тому

      @degerli12 I understand. The sound can be disturbing, especially if you have neighbors. Unfortunately, there’s nothing you can do. All CNC machines sound that way. You could perhaps build a sound proof box for your pen plotter but then you won’t be able to see the drawing.

      @@thedotisblack thank you.I thought about this too. Do you think this will cause the device to overheat?

    • @thedotisblack
      @thedotisblack  4 місяці тому +1

      @degerli12 no, the machine will be fine, it’s quite robust. In fact, when I run my machines for hours, the stepper motors are slightly warmer than room temperature. You can check yourself and touch the stepper motors during and after using it.
