Well at least cadence and Shining Armor had a good reason to surrender. Sombra was holding their freaking daughter hostage for crying out loud.
I love the fact that discord could've easily defeated Sombra , but he didn't just to teach Twilight a lesson 😄👌
Might as well call it My Little Pony : Endgame
Twilight is slowly becoming like Celestia, she even has a word after her! Love it
I see Twilight's wavy hair as foreshadowing for the finale. Tell me I'm not the only one that thinks this? lol
In my opinion the most dangerous villains are those who can convince the heroes they are not technically wrong. They make the heroes question themselves and what they do, punching huge holes in their entire sense of selves and their motivations, which the villains can exploit. This is why I imagined Sombra to be the highly-persuasive type were he ever to regain his full power, and be able to rule the Empire. I also imagined that, being a being of darkness, he could control the corrupting powers that turned Luna into Nightmare Moon (in the comics these are the Nightmare Forces). An enemy that can turn one's friends and allies to their side with mere words would be incredibly dangerous and frustrating to face.

As Tywin Lannister once said: "Any man who must state 'I am the king' is no true king."
"Die aquatic spawn of evil!!" who knew gen 1 seaponies would be a call back to sanity.
What happened to Sombra's 7/11 job?
When I found out that Sombra was going to capture Flurry Heart, I thought he was going to do a Jareth/Goblin King and hold her hostage or corrupt her.
Ok but to be fair? Shining armor was being smart by not picking a fight with THE GUY WHO'S
Anyone else wish Sombra had taken the Hugo Strage route of body armor?
I personally found Sombra enjoyable too. He had a lot of confidence and was actually smart in how to deal with the heroes. Now if he had just mind controlled them, Discord would've also been easier to deal with
... A bolter?
My Head canon for the first showing of Sombra was that his attack of the Empire was just his shadow, that's why it's speech was so stilted. I really wish he would have stayed an evil mastermind rather than a petulant man-child.
Wait ... ... So Silver Quill is scared of Mantine? (Note to self: start planning full Mantine Pokemon team)
Sombra made the Cakes bake an
I bet you liked Sombra better when he was running the 7Eleven, right?
Okay. The part with Mantine actually kind of pissed me off... until I saw that it was a joke about the old Seaponies. Clever AND unexpected! Well done!
