    I also posted this comment on Ron Fitzpatrick's air cleaner video also. Unless I'm missing something the way they tell you to put the air cleaner conversion together it doesn't seal on the top of the filter. Stick your air filter into the upper housing by itself and you'll see it doesn't match up to anything to seal up.
    In order to make the conversions work you put the o-ring in the upper housing followed by the steel adapter and air cleaner. The bottom of the filter will then seal against the inside of the cup when you put it on. Basically upside down from what's shown......gotta seal both ends of the filter or it doesn't do anything.
    I'm also a little concerned that the outer edge edge of the cup will no longer seal against the housing, giving an opportunity for water to get in.

    Good idea prevent fire on exhaust manifold happen to my jeep twice .

    In the G503 instructions, the O-ring gasket goes between the bottom pan and the adapter, not in the upper housing. But I don't see how that Wix filter is supposed to seal inside the top housing.
