Buying a fish needs research. When I first started this hobby neither there was internet nor so much easily available knowledge. Now its much easier. One of the beautiful fish that is hardy and survives easily is Betta. There is a misconception that they fight with all fish. Fact is, they fit well in a community tank. But they will eat fish that fits their mouth, like any other. I have kept Betta with tetras, Angel, Goramis, Guppys... never faced any problem

@@MayurDevAquascaper Yes indeed there are but the majority of them I have seen doesn’t know anything about fish or aquarium. All they know is if you will buy soft fishes then you will see casualties because they are very delicate.
When I started this hobby I used to believe them and made myself fool. But since year I am watching your videos and now they all look fool to me when I go to shop and question them.
The best part is few shopkeepers are like what are you asking I have never heard of this. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Some great points sir , specially there are too many people that buy fish by impulse without knowing there needs and personality and adult size. Though I think having a stable ph in a tank is much more important than chasing a number in ph it will only create problems for general hobbyist isn't it , btw when you are going to show us the discus aquascape ??

Dear sir this was a top notch video for all the newbie's. Your point's from A to Z are completely true. Me being a discus and tetra aquarist from years long had to experience a lot. When there is a mistake thats when we learn things and that mistakes made me one good aquarist.
This video was so helpful to all the newbie's and it will make the choice for them much easier. Thank you again 😄. The other thing which shocked me was that you use aqua design Amano tank Literally couldn't believe it..
Though now there are some shopkeepers who are good in fooling customers by ripping them off and i wont fall into their prey but the shopkeepers be like oh shit how do we fool the customers now hahaha after looking at your video. I always have a selective choice and i either buy it from my nearby aquaculture farm like aquatic biosystems mangalore or Sam's discus or aquadiscus india for jacket wattley grand d-50plus granulated food🙂 where we good quality at good price....

Another query Sir. In my planted tank, I have 5 rummy nose tetras, 5 Harlequin rasboras, 6 red eye tetras, 5 Bosemani rainbow, 1 golden algae eater and around 25 black mollies (3 adults and mostly juveniles). My tank is a 34 inch by 18 inch by 18 inch tank. Are they compatible with each other? Or should I remove the mollies?

@@dhariyabansal2137 most welcome it's one of the most peaceful for mind hobby and if provide proper conditions it's great for the fish too.... grow slowly best way for a beginner is to start with aquaponics... You can use giant money plant terrestrial ferns, and colocasia species they are easy to find and water will stay clean... one of my aquarium has no o2, no filter these plants only the tank is crystal clean always.... use some big 🪨 and white sand.... it's a great combination...😊
