I’m 36, I ended a friendship of 20 yrs about 4 years ago. At first I was like “ damn…smh” but then I analyzed the situation and did some self-reflection and reflected on the overall friendship and yall.. I should have been cut that girl off smh.

Me too.....separating yourself from old, tired friendships is so hard and making new friends as adults is so awkward.

Friendship breakups hurt more to me because you get to know your friends in a different kind of intimate way. When you learn your 'friend' is walking around being weird it hurts because it's like damn, I thought we were on the same team. I’ve definitely been a horrible employee in the last 6 months. My coworker and friend passed & I hate my job for how they acted like nothing happened and its just not the same. We started together. We were real close outside of work. So work is just a drag. I hate it.

Yes, I experienced my first friendship fall out in the 1st grade and it's because they thought i was being fake. The girls stopped speaking to me for like two weeks. I wasn't really sad because I didn't understand why they stopped talking to me but I just started talking to other people and then when they came back around we was cool again.
