LCM assumption is not any fancy method but the same thing by manipulating fractions. Some teachers throw it in the mix but I've seen many students confused by it. The method shown here would take 4-5 mins for the 4 questions. If you have a simpler method for the 5th one I'm all ears.

TW==30 Eff==1:2 Z=10 ATQ,(5) 60/R1 - 30/R2=10 -- 1 60/(10-R1) - 30/(9-R2) == 3.5 --- 2 Hit and trial.. R1= 2 R2 = 1.5 A -- Q-R==4 B -- Q-R==1.5 60/4 = 15 30/1.5== 20 20+15==35==Answer Just a try sir :) 🙏

@@SupriyoPanda 1)Assume TW=60 Then as per the conditions.. 60/4 - 60/6 = 5 5 time difference between P and Q is given in the question..so condition matches.. 2)R2 is the outlet pipe of Tank B..so 6+3 is the efficiency of P and Q.. 6+3-R2 = Total efficiency of Pipes of Tank B.. :)

sharpen your concepts in arithmetic especially averages and ratios you will see they will become easier. Keep solving mains level mocks.

I find the T&W DI can easily be solved by LCM assumption method..I find the method in the video lengthy :)
