From an economic standpoint, the city of Denver would be stupid to not roll out the incentives to stay where they're at. Hotels, restaurants, and bars all along the downtown corridor rely on fall seasonal football to stay afloat. Both from visitors and locals alike. 65 years' worth of economic prosperity. Would be ashame if moved. BUT I understand owners wanting a bigger property to build out. The traffic would be miserable going to something far south or north because you will get the majority of traffic going home in the opposite direction. Just think of the hockey game at the air force academy... miserable 😂
That's also prime real estate for housing developments. So is Elitch Gardens. A retractable dome stadium would be epic. A stadium further south would draw fans from the Springs and even Pueblo.

@EDECO79 Yes, the Waltons cousin Mr. Kroenke, Nuggets, and Avalanche owner, likely , has promised he would develop it.
