The story is about two great Kingdom which are Malacca Sultanate in Malay Peninsular (today is West Malaysia) and Majapahit, a great Hindu Kingdom in Java, Indonesia.. Puteri Gunung Ledang (Princess of Mount Ophir) has many version of story either in Malays or Javanese.. This story is base on Javanese believe that Puteri Gunung Ledang is a Princess of Majapahit. Hang Tuah is Malay greatest admiral in Malay history/legend.. He is known as multitasking man, charming, very brave and known for his loyalty to his Master (The King/Sultan).. There was a conflict as the Sultan want to marry the Javanese Princess (Princess of Mount Ophir) but in the same time the Princess has fell in love with Admiral Hang Tuah.. So, she set seven impossible conditions for him as a means to reject his proposal.. Among of conditions are to prepare 7 vases of mosquitoes heart, 7 vases of fleas heart and a Golden bridge from Mount Ophir/Gunung Ledang which she accommodate while in Malay Peninsular to Malacca Palace.. Which is about 30++km
this song got influence from javanese traditional music called sinden..in the story, Princesses from Java Island and stay at Mount Ledang in Malaysia.. i explain this beforehand to make sure all Indonesian not calling us stealing their music or etc..we are not claiming sinden was ours..just cooperate to match storyline..😅

Looking at this movie now as an adult, ohmaigawd the special effects are horrible xD it’s also kind of boring to me. I’m now used to more extreme action scenes so this movie was meh to me, even thougb it enchanted me as a kid. Also, Tiara used to be able to sing this while DANCING. It was amazing. I LOVED watching her perform this song as a kid. I would wait for her segment in live tv shows, forget all homework
