Lots of people dont understand how some actually treat bowling as their sport & they actually take their scores progress seriously, not just some recreational get-together fun socializing game. Even any distractions from bowling companions who dont really know the bowling etiquettes, no matter how minor it can be, can cause these serious bowlers to lose scores & cause them dissapointments😵🙏so its really important that people be more mindful of their actions if they want the bowling session to turn out "fun" for these serious bowlers..

Different bowling lanes have different way to calibrate and put the oil down and different floor material. You need to bowl a few games in order to adjust your style of approach.

People shouldnt determine a player's bowling skills just by their 1st game, as some people need time to warm up & adapt to the lane's "vibes" & as what u said, determine the approach method according to different lane conditions. Those who dont play bowling often tend to judge from the 1st game, which is really annoying to me personally. For me, i rather bowl alone / bowl with bowling buddies who knows & accepted the fact that our scores can be like an unpredictable graph & that most importantly, how bowlers throw their strikes & pickup spares are not by pure amateur chance but by careful approach & good techniques..

I personally find this title quite disturbing. We cannot really say that his bowling skills went downhill, as even league & pro bowlers (let alone us normal scorers), their & our scores can be extremely inconsistent due to factors like stress, tiredness, seeing the next lane players / companions play badly & thus affecting theirs + our throws, noisy distractions from companions or crowd, not used to new bowling environments, lane's oil patterns etc...all these can throw bowler's focus off🙏🙏just so u guys know, as bowling requires not just good technique, but also a player must be very focused & calm to even gain good scores. Because i have seen many players who didnt do much bowling & yet getting "Brooklyn" strikes (strike by luck) but without the right methods used😅
