I was so excited to see you had a new video!! These snowmen are so cute!! Do you stay awake at night thinking up all your wonderful ideas? LOL You have such talent and I enjoy watching you. Thank You for sharing your talent with us.
These little guys are gorgeous, good reminder about over doing the glitter, I am terrible for that, the dots on the scarf, noses and gloves would be covered 😂so glad you teach glitter sense. Thank you ✨✨
Lori these little guys are ADORABLE !!!! I would have not thought about using fabric ! I will be watching for some at my store. Thank you for sharing your creations !
These are super cute!! When you said we could fast forward through the fussy cutting, I had to smile. I normally would with other crafters; but I enjoy the sense of peace your voice and unrushed movements bring, so I don't. Thank you so much for bringing something into my life that is positive and looked forward to. Blessed be.
I have been following you for awhile now and I just love your creations!! Your videos are easy to follow. I appreciate how you do not speak fast. There is no rewinding to find out what you said. Your projects are beautiful and inspirational! Thank you for sharing your beautiful work with us.
Hi Lori,I've been waiting and watching fir your new holiday crafts! Love this idea, last year made your Christmas Santa's for my great grandchildren and c 56 nursing home residents. They adored them, put on their doors! So thanks so much for all your hard work and ideas!
The snowmen are so cute I wish I had a hobby lobby close to me. The closest one is about 3 1/2 hours but I so enjoy watching your videos you guys step-by-step even someone like myself who is a novice, feels like they have the confidence to re-create.
These snowmen are adorable! It's silly, but I got really excited when I remembered that I had the same cardstock, glitter paper, hole punch, and pearl trim! I'll be heading to Hobby Lobby in the next few days to get the fabric. Thank you for sharing your creativity and talent. I've copied many of your wonderful creations. Thank you again! ♥️♥️♥️
You are so welcome Hun! I've never tried to run the glittered paper through my Cuttlebug, but that's a good question. I would THINK it would work, but I'll have to test it out.
Lori and Donna, Hi Ladies🤗 Here’s an answer to your question Donna : I use both Hobby Lobby and Walmart glitter paper on my machines Cuttlebug, Gemin Jr, Big Shot, and Big Kick it works great on all. I have also print and cut with the Walmart paper on my cricut machine, it works beautifully as well. You could also use snowflake dies with the glitter foam, just make sure you always just make one pass.More then one pass with ruin your image because the foam stretches. Hope this helps ladies. Hugs💞Dina
The word adorable always springs to mind, when i see your crafts Laurie. (Apologies if I've spelt your name wrong) Your crafts are always so lovely and these cute snowmen are no exception. As always, thank you for the inspiration. 😊
Beautiful and thank you for sharing your inspiring!! Sadly we don’t have a Hobby Lobby in the UK, so wont be able to make them exactly like you. I have watched you for a long time now, and enjoy the video’s immensely! Anna. 👍💕
Awww! I wish some of the larger craft stores we have here would make its way to the UK. There are so many people from the UK who have expressed their frustration over this.
@@HappyBirdsGlitterNest We have to rely on TV crafts shows or online shopping, and is very expensive here, 20% V.A.T. tax on everything you buy! Thanks for replying, your such a nice lady, and again, love watching your projects! God bless, Anna. xx
Beautiful just adorable! In Alberta Canada there is no Hobby Lobby or a least where I live but next time I go to Fabric land I must check out the Christmas fabric. Thank u for sharing this video . Looking forward to your next project,
Hello there, Such a sweet project. How simply adorable are those snow men? one of my favorite icons for Christmas. I need to hunt down some of that glitter paper. It is stunning. And non shedding! Love that fabric. Great tutorial. You are an inspiration, Thank you. Keep going my friend. God bless.
Hello Laurie, wow, I really love the snowmen, they really are so sweet. Thank you for sharing this little project, with your crafting friends. Julia Cassidy from Nottingham England 🤓👍🇬🇧🤗
Awwww! Sweetie, if you type in Google "Corn Cob Snowman Fabric," you should see other places this fabric is also being sold. You can also use other snowman fabrics. Even if it's the whole body, you can still cut around the head and scarf area. Just choose prints that are clear and crisp looking. No blurred snowman images on the fabric, or it won't look as good. They also sell snowman digital downloads on Etsy. I hope this helps!
You haven't been on for a while, hop everything is ok. Love your crafts! You are so talented and kind. Your a very good teacher. Thank you for sharing.
Sweetie, if by chance you can't find the fabric, look for other snowman fabric. It doesn't matter if it's the full body, because you can always cut around the head and scarf. Just make sure the snowmen are a crisp print and not one that is blurred. It will make all the difference on your ornaments.
Hi Lori🤗 …….Girl!!! My Goodness these ornaments are soooo Adorable. The Snowman faces are so Scrumptious you just want to give them Hugs💞💞💞💞. I have to try this project. I have everything but the snowmen, thanks to you I have the beading from projects I followed of yours years ago.🤣😂l I’m going to look for the fabric today, sale or no sale it’s to cute to pass up. As always I Love 💚❤️and appreciate your tutorials. Scrumptious Snowman ⛄️ Hugs💞Dina
Awwww! It's so good to hear from you, Sweetie! Thank you so much for all your kind words! BTW, I have lots of beads from my past projects too! Lol ~ More than I'll ever use, I'm sure! Also, the name of the fabric I used is called "Cob Corn Snowman." I'm thinking that Hobby Lobby should restock if they run out. It's still pretty early in the season. Much love!
Hi Luv🤗,I truly Love 🥰the beautiful creations you always make. You’re so talented and creative. Thank you for the fabric name. I’m still hunting after 2 stores.I’m determined to find it lol.I’m going on vacation soon. So I’ll be looking there as well. We have so many HL surrounding us it has to be at one I know I’ll find it. Thank you again for your Scrumptious Snowman Ornament share. Big Scrumptious Hugs💞Dina
Lori I was just going to give you a tip I learned from Pam on The Paper Outpost. If you put your Fabric tac glue in Sugar Belle Icing bottles they have a smaller nozzle and easier to squeeze. You can find them in cake decorating in Hobby Lobby. They're inexpensive.
Lori, I am trying to find the tutorial where you show how to decoupage on the cork rounds. I want to try them. The snowmen you made today are precious. Thank you for all of your tutorials.
Thank you Sweetie! I can't post the link in the comment section, but if you email me at HappyBirdsGlitterNest@gmail.com, I can send you the direct link. Or you can type in "HappyBird's Glitter Nest Rustic Ornament" in the YT search bar and it should pop up.
I downloaded the image of a snowman's head from Etsy. It was $5, but I was able to fit 4 on a page. This way, once you have the image, you can make as many snowmen as you want.
You can always use other snowman fabric. Just cut around the head and scarf area. Also, you can find free vintage snowmen clip art online and print it out. Just glue to cardstock and laminate the front with self-adhesive laminating sheets, like I showed in last week's angel ornament tutorial. :)
I love this little guy, thank you.
