this, considering the max captured hand velocity (hence the slap power) is maxed way below the real one, how will the game make the difference between well trained players ?

This is one of those trailers, that starts of interesting, and then just goes on a little too long and starts to feel awkward.

Game aside. Does anyone know if it’s a good idea to get the system even though I own a psvr2?
Depends. There are a lot of extra games on it, and standalone/no wires is convenient. Graphics aren’t as good (sometimes pretty bad) but some future games like Batman aren’t looking bad.
I have both Rift3 and PSVR2. While Rift3 has better resolution and pancake lenses, I still prefer the HDR OLED screen of the PSVR2.
I would suggest you wait a few months till PSVR2 can be plugged into PC so you expand the games and experiences that you can get.
But if you want a stand alone VR HeadSet I think the Rift 3 is the best for its price. Also the rift has AR mode and some games are pretty cool to be played in AR. Rift has far more things to do in VR/AR but PSVR2 has better polish. My favorite VR experience is Gran Turismo on PSVR2 by far. Also the Rift battery life is pretty poor and you must also get a third party headstrap because the default sucks.
So skip the rift and wait for PC support for PSVR2. But if you have the money take the rift as well, there are things and experiences that are unique and pretty cool.
