    I'm assuming the Flashback has mono jacks while your 1/4" outputs on the rack are likely stereo. How did you solve that?

  • @pepe7drum
    @pepe7drum 3 роки тому

    Dude what should i get? A Pocket Operator PO 33 KO, a Korg SQ1 and a Korg Monotron Delay or a combo that someone is sellin it comes with the volca keys, bass and beats plus the SQ1 and a 5 channel mixer in two mini racks like yours. Is a bit more expensive than my first option but no so much, what would you buy?

    • @aeonsmog3695
      @aeonsmog3695  3 роки тому +4

      Hey man, I think you'll have more fun with the volcas, the PO's are a bit fiddly and a single one and a monotron delay will probably feel pretty limited. I'd rather go with the volca trio, or even look into some of the grooveboxes out there - I'm waiting for a Elektron Model:Cycles which has about the same pricetag as 3 Volcas and might even be more rewarding... Maybe! But my vote is either on the 3 Volcas or something in that price range. Then later on you can add a monotron delay for spacey fx sounds to spice things up!

    • @aeonsmog3695
      @aeonsmog3695  Рік тому

      Keys, probably. The Bass has a weird keyboard, and the keys can record longer loops due to the 1/4th speed setting. Bass is lots of fun still, but not as self contained.
