Really nice setup you have. I haven't seen many 75M's out there, mostly 90's and 100's. I have a 5075E that I've not been satisfied with. Several issues that have made me decide to trade it. Hard to beat the M's I think. Stout frames and the external lift cylinders are definitely the way to. Good choice.
@@gerryamyot8054 There are a lot of variables in your question. In terms of difference, you get a larger frame, better hydraulic flow, 16/16 power reverser trans, larger front wheels and many other bells and whistles. I originally had a 5065E on order and I'm sure I would have been fine with that set up and would have liked it. The dealer had my 5075M on the lot and there was a 90 day lead time when I ordered. Honestly, that played a part in my decision. I believe there was about a $20k difference from the 5065E to the 5075M. I think I had them configured about the same. Hope this helps and thanks for watching the channel.
@@firstgenfarmer9809 I had a 5100M with Deluxe cab and most of the bells and whistles. It was a 2018 model with 225 hours on it. Very nice Cab and nice heavy tractor but when I got it had 3 monthis of warranty on it. The gear shift would take two hands to pull it out of Park and it was at their Dealership the third time before they fixed it. It was there for a noise, rattle or knocking inside the engine. Their reply was "they all do that" I told them I was only concerned with mine so it's time to use the warranty so FIX IT. I had to get an Attorney involved so John Deere gave me 2 years extended warranty on it but didn't fix tractor. I told them I wanted it fixed or my Attorney would be talking to them again. They finally agreed to buy it back at a $6500.00 loss I accepted it real quick. I wanted rid of the problem so went with the Orange instead of Green. Kubota is not as heavy but at least it don't make a knocking and rattling noise. Don't think I will buy Green again.....
I have a 5075M ordered and it arrives in April. Ironic but I am trading in my 4052r which I had zero issues with but need a little more tractor for discing and pulling a larger seed drill. Also wanted a cab. I have watched your videos and they have been very helpful. Have you found the 5075m has sufficient power for its weight? I was going with 5075e but wanted more weight and hydraulic flow. Thx
I have yet to encounter a situation where I wished it had more power. Granted, the 5075M is more tractor than I need. I purposely bought a model with more power than I needed. I’m confident you will like it. Be sure to let me know after you receive it. Thanks for watching the channel.
Thanks for the reply. My 5075m shows up in next couple days. I need to decide whether to fill tires. I filled tires on my 4052r and was thankful I did. Since the 5075m is about 2.5k heavier than 5075E I was wondering if it was heavy enough without filling tires (believe fill adds about extra 1k lbs). Did you fill your tires and what are your thoughts on whether they should or should be filled on 5075m. I will have loader on all the time.
@@user-ic2mc9ie4y I filled mine. There are times around my farm when I’m in a hurry and I wanna use the loader without putting on any ballast. Granted, that is not frequent. I also like filling them to lower the center of gravity. I’m occasionally mowing and using the tractor on a grade.
I to do alot of research before I buy I have a 1025r and am very happy with it till my garden and plant my sweet corn with it but would like another bigger tractor and wondering whats the difference between the 5075e and the 5075m
Quite a bit. Hydraulics go from 17.5 gpm to 24.7 gpm | Fuel capacity increases in the M from 21 to 31 gallons | weights with cab...the e weighs 6702 and the m weighs 9185 lbs | The M comes standard with 16/16 Powr/Reverser. The e comes standard with a 12/12. The difference in the weight tells the big story. In terms of the frame and overall strength of the tractor there is no comparing the e to the m. The higher hydraulic flow also makes a huge difference. However, all of this is relative to how you will use the tractor. Maybe you don't need a stronger frame, bigger front wheels, increased weight etc. If you don't then do not spend the extra money on a "m".
Thanks for the info between the 5075 e and the 5075m the hydronic flow can make a big difference on how the loader and attachments work sometimes its an after thought on different attachments and weather the tractor can handle them I take that into consideration too when researching a tractor
@@dougjerke8985 The cycle time on the loader is quick. I'm easily annoyed with slow moving loaders. I like that I can have the rpms around 1800 and the loader still moves quickly and has lots of power.
First off thanks for your content and I really like your farm . Quick question for you . We've recently purchased 133 acres in Tennessee , primarily pasture / level ground with few tree except around the property boundaries . Im looking at 100hp tractors , might even consider a 5125r model . I'll be primarily be using it for bush hogging and pasture / paddock development . Any ideas on proper size tractor and basic implements out of the gates to get me going ? Thank you in advance and thanks again for the content .
You will have a lot of capability with a 100hp or 125hp tractor. I will definitely be jealous of the 5125r. You could easily work a 15' rotary cutter and a multitude of heavy duty implements. My basic setup would be a box scrape, land plane, and possibly a blade. The blade would be last on my list. I have a blade I used with my 4052r years ago and I only used it one or twice when I was originally cutting in a gravel road. They are nice when you want to move dirt more aggressively. I found that my 4052r just didn't have enough weight or power to really cut. You won't have that challenge with the size machine you are considering. I can't say enough how much I like my land plane. I find it to be a versatile tool from leveling out grade to maintaining a driveway and of course a box scrape seems essential on any property. They're all pricey but worth it. I also have a CID 4-in-1 bucket that I really like. I find that to also be a very versatile tool. Again, they're pricey but you'll like it. If you think you'll end up with a track or wheel loader at some point then I recommend getting a 4-in-1 bucket for that machine instead. I didn't think I was going to buy a track loader when I bought the 4-in-1 for my tractor and it has Deere hooks instead of a global carrier attachment so they are not compatible. Compatibility in implements is definitely something to consider if you think you'll ever own multiple machines. I rambled on. Hope this helps. Keep me posted about what you get and feel free to ask anything else.
Hey man! Love the tractor, I’ve got a couple questions if you don’t care to answer? I’m really critical of equipment as well. Not far from you in east tn so pretty much same landscape and applications.
I currently have a 4052m and and old 2440 I do all my small stuff tedding, raking, feeding, and anything that doesn’t need much pto hp with the 4052m and mostly just baling with the old 2440 but it honestly needs more work than honestly worth and is only 2wd been looking for an old 2755 or 2555 but they aren’t just around so starting on looking at the newer tractors. Was looking at the 5075e until I saw the weight.. would the m series be heavy enough and have enough power for round baling and 12 or 15 ft bush hog?
@@jeffnoblin889 I can't speak to the baler but I bought an E12 bushhog and the tractor runs it great! I use my bushhog to mow large fescue areas at 5-6" off the deck. It's thick grass and it doesn't lug at all in ePTO mode at 7 mph. I have no doubt it would run a 15' cutter as well. I can't say enough about how happy I am with the tractor and the 12' cutter!
No sir...I have a PowrReverser 16F/16R transmission. It is also available in a PowrReverser 32F/16R version. There is not an ehydro option on the 5 series. I believe the 4 series is the largest size with ehydro option. I wouldn't want it in this size tractor. Things start to get heavy in the 5 series. For example, my e12 cutter weighs over 3k lbs. I prefer the solid lock up of gears in heavy applications. Thanks for the question and for watching!
