Vassell is the only teammate that I trust with Wemby. Everyone else struggles understanding his game. Yes Jones is a better PG than Sochan but he needs Vets and another big to play off of. Spurs need help next few years.
cant believe this is all the comments. i agree he needs at least a point guard and probably a center than have good cheistry. chemistry will be better next year no matter what. some of things ive seen him do doesnt seem fair to the rest of the league but as well and as fast as he moves he still moves like he is 7'4......its a little awkward, i think he will be top ten in the league at some point.....could be best ever but if he stays healthy and hungry im for sure on top 10 in the league and maybe top 2
They gonna need chemistry. Some of the guards need to go but then Coach Pop had other plans. This rookie year is setting the Spurs for better talents. Trae Young ain't the key! Spurs needs a real center and PG then Dynasty!
If I’m Spurs and I want to build around Wemby to make playoffs soon I’ll trade Zach Collins for Chris Paul and Kevon Looney. This would help spurs get a true playmaker and someone who can smoothly run the offense and a good back up big with tons of experience in Loony. Then trade Doug McDermott and Malaki Branham with a pick from 2028, 2027 draft to get a LUKE KENNARD or Moses Moody or ALEX CARUSO This will make your starters know their roles with a sold backs who can play in any way you need Starting like up of Paul, Vassell, Johnson, Sochan and Wemby that’s a good starting five and off your bench you’ll have loony, Tre Jones, Devonte' Graham and either. Moses Moody who’s a big SG more of a SF Alex Caruso who is a good well round player who can do a little of everything. Or Luke Kennard who’s a SF sniper
