No - with role plays the nice thing is that you have flexibility with the situation - you can make assumptions on the details and thus can mould the situation to your strengths

Hi i just wanted to ask, u told the person that the cancer was found in its early stages, are you allowed to say that even though it hasnt been mentioned what stage its at in the roleplay?
You have to remember that there is some leniency in the details of the situation. They have left it open ended to allow for some assumptions to be made but air on the side of caution. Don't make any LARGE assumptions that may severely impact the role play (in this case I mentioned staging as it shows I have an understanding of cancer stages and it is relevant to the scenario) hope that clears things up.
