【今しか観れない超貴重な企画】熊本城宇土櫓特別公開に行ってきました【城を歩く】Kumamoto Castle/Uto Yagura special public event

2016年4月16日に発生した熊本地震で熊本城は大きな被害を受けました。現在復旧工事が進められています。
現存櫓となる宇土櫓は2023年から解体復旧工事が始まっていますが、
2024年4月14日に宇土櫓素屋根内部特別公開が行われました。
地震に耐え残った櫓として、また江戸・明治と一部修復されながらも今日まで残った貴重な資料としての櫓と様々な側面を持つ遺構を間近で見ることができる、またとない機会です。是非見学に行かれてください。
（GW5月3日から5日まで監物櫓も見学できる模様！！）
〇公開日　毎月1回（第2日曜日）
※荒天（強風等）時は中止します。
※復旧工事の状況により、公開エリアの変更があります。
※5月のみ3日（金・祝）～5日（日・祝）の3日間を監物櫓の公開に合わせて実施します。

Kumamoto Castle suffered major damage in the Kumamoto Earthquake that occurred on April 16, 2016. Restoration work is currently underway.
Demolition and restoration work on the existing turret, Uto Yagura, has begun in 2023.
On April 14, 2024, a special exhibition of the inside of the Uto turret roof was held.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see up close the turret, which withstood the earthquake and survived the earthquake, and even though it was partly restored in the Edo and Meiji eras, it still remains as a valuable resource to this day. Please come and have a look.
(It looks like you can also tour Kanmono Yagura from Golden Week May 3rd to 5th!!)
〇Release date: Once a month (2nd Sunday)
*Canceled in case of stormy weather (strong winds, etc.).
*Public areas may change depending on the status of restoration work.
*Only in May, the event will be held for 3 days from the 3rd (Friday/holiday) to the 5th (Sunday/holiday) to coincide with the opening of Kanmono Yagura.
〇Public hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
