Well, I guess you did say this was a stock analysis, but it's hard for me to see why FCF is the indicator to watch over some of the fundamentals of the business. SNOW is positioning itself to compete with Databricks on untructured data and machine learning. So I'm more interested in the Datavolo acquisition and how much it gets used. It's moat in proprietary data still seems pretty solid and Ramaswamy seems like he's got a good handle on product rollouts. So financials wise, I'll still going to watch revenue and defer my hopes for FCF. I think long-term, that is the better mindset to have with SNOW. Thanks for this "color" 😂 on the companies finances, but would love more eval of the company's growth strategy--although I know that can be a highly technical matter.
I work with snowflake databases. I don’t like them. I do hear good AI initiatives from them but I just do not see this happening actually. So I will wait until I see with my own eyes….
Snowflake has been making significant strides in AI integration through various initiatives. For example: 1. Snowflake Cortex: Provides pre-built AI functions like sentiment analysis and text summarization, making AI accessible through SQL or Python. 2. Partnership with Anthropic: Enables the use of advanced language models for building AI applications directly on Snowflake’s platform. 3. Acquisitions: Companies like Applica (for document AI) and Myst AI (for time series forecasting) enhance its AI and machine learning capabilities. These efforts aim to integrate AI seamlessly into the data ecosystem while empowering users with practical tools and knowledge.
Another superb call! THANKS!! VGT is the way to go!!!!
