Its the end of an era. I hope that the 130 people allocated for delivery of this fine vehicle, enjoy every second behind the wheel. I know that I would. I had the chance to drive a 2000 S600, back in the days, and that V12 badge on the side commands respect.
That 2000 is a BEAST and wayyyyyy cheaper....

A beautiful car indeed. If I ever hit the lottery, this is the car I would buy first or I can wait for about 10 years and buy one for about 30k, which it will still be a very beautiful car to drive. I'll have one by 2030.

My American and Australian friends are always freaking out how " cheap" Mercedes are in Germany. Compared to Australia and USA.
And my Chinese friends say in China its double price too because luxury car taxes.

6. Seat fore-and-aft position
7. Seat backrest inclination.
And then save the seat settings using the memory function.
Can you show:

1. left-hand parking lights
2. right-hand parking lights
3. standing lights and licence plate lighting
4. automatic driving lights
5. dipped beam/main beam
6. switches the rear for lights on or off

Turn the light swithc to the desired position;
1. switches on the main beam
2. switches on the turn signal light, right
3. flashes the headlamps
4. switches on the turn signal light, left
Switch off the main beam; move combination switch back to its starting position;
1.0 windscreen wipers off
2... intermittent wiping, normal
3.... intermittent wiping, frequent
4_continous wiping, slow
5__ contonous wiping, fast
-turn the combination switch to 1-5 position
-single wipe/washing> push the button combination to switch - single wipe * wiping with washer fluid.
1. sets AUTO climate control, left
2. set temperature, left
3. sets the airflow, left,
4. switch air-recirculation mode on/off manualy
5. defrosts the windscreen
6. call up the air conditioning menu of the multimedia system.
switch the ressidual heat on/off
7. switch the rear window heater on or off
8. switch the stationary heat on/off
9. sets the airflow, right
10. sets the temperature, right
11. sets climate control to automatic, right
And please set the air distribution, bot left and right.

What happens if you have soft closing and smack your door will it do anything bad to the soft closing system?
Well,on the 2003 4runners going up,they all have soft closing trunks, hitting it hard will just close it normally, but if you continue doing so you risk ruining the mechanism.
Close it hard it's not gonna hurt that BEAST ..

Buying this car and affording to keep it are 2 different things, the car is a 100% stunner, there is no question. realistically I have to say froma deisgn /interior perspective this vehicle is above a Bentley. The AMG package makes the performance better, but I think the Flying Spur beats it as fastest sedan. All around the car is in its own category.
